Seems OK in UK now.. but serious problems earlier. Not sure about live weather though as no METARs seem to be available (where they usually is)

There have been a lot of power outages in New England lately with the storm. Maybe that is why METARS were not working for a while.

I am flying now in Brazil, and I notice if I hit the B key, the altimeter reads 29.92, and never moves. Also switching off and on Live weather, makes no change at all, just clear skies.

I just fixed it. On the FS forum it says to go to Online functionality , turn it off and save.. Then turn it back on and save, and now I have live weather, clouds, and correct baro reading.

Thanks, I'll give that a try.  That's an official source lol.

Same here. One day of the week I have the entire day to fly and dealing with this now.

Today every time I try to start MSFS I am told that online services are unreachable, to check my internet connection. However my internet is working OK.  Anyone else seeing this?

Thanks,

Jim

Had the same problem 6 hours ago - but finally live weather and internet connection came back online.

Noticed the issue one hour ago. Took longer to get to the flight selection screen and then it had nothing in the world map, as it was offline. I can imagine the kind of mess it'll be produced tomorrow if the WU7 is released in these conditions.

I just completed a 2.5 hour flight from Houston to Detroit. All servers were working for the entire flight, including Live Weather. (On US East). Everything was offline here though earlier this afternoon.

Toggling online functionality allows me to at least hard-select the west coast server (and pings are fine once connected). Must have something to do with the server auto-selection which is having issues here ATM.
