February 2, 20224 yr I am enjoying WU7 quite a lot and I was thinking what was your opinion on FS World Updates so far. I would place Australia (still, lots to be seen and enjoyed) on top 3, 1 and spots being Switzerland and France, with UK, being a close 4th. Iñigo Bildarratz
February 2, 20224 yr I am really enjoying Australia, visually it looks even better than previous WU's. AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

This, I believe, is how MSFS will progress--it will continue to improve steadily as satellite imagery improves as well at photogrammetry. This is one of the plus-sides of a cloud-based simulator. February 2, 20224 yr I've enjoyed all of them, but the UK was best for me because I live there. Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
February 2, 20224 yr I liked the Benelux update the most and not because it included France. I9-14900K, Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite AX, RTX 4080, 32 ram.1 tb nvme M.2 SSD, MSFS 2020 on 2 tb nvme m.2 SSD
February 2, 20224 yr I think Australia is the best so far for me. The quality is great Japan is a close second There are a bunch that aren't memorable for me because either the content doesn't interest me much or the quality is middling. Otherwise the memorable ones for the wrong reasons UK / FRANCE (Melty buildings and in the UK's case overuse of polygons in certain buildings.) USA for such a large space i feel this one is lacking content. February 3, 20224 yr As an Aussie - it is good to see so many people are liking what they see - but beware Apart from the sections that are deliberately worked on - ie cityscapes and airports - most of it is outdated Bing - Eg. I am from the Gold Coast in Queensland which looks great to the uninitiated - my house that I have lived in for 8 years still in the building stage in the sim- and yet the Bing maps of the same area - show it completely up to date - and strangely enough a few weeks ago - some users were substituting Google in the sim The area of the Gold Coast they showed - was exactly the same as the Bing - 8 years out of date 🤥

February 3, 20224 yr Difficult question for me despite being a South Australian because I love the geographically newer and more rugged US scenery rather than the red and worn Aussie outback. I also love San Francisco, Seattle, New York and Chicago (after I put Miegs Field back). 😀
February 3, 20224 yr I don’t know what to make of this question. I have no favorite. I enjoy a WU scenery when I fly one but I don’t select a flight because it is in a WU. How could I say that the new Australia where I flew a couple of times only, is better than, Switzerland that I flew much more ? What I saw was better than the MSFS default is all that I can say, like for any other WU region. The WU so far have covered regions which are not badly covered in P3D with Orbx or some dedicated map (cf. Japan). I flew them quite a lot so, in MSFS, I am more attracted to regions where MSFS really shines because they were neglected before. When it came out I was very pleased but the subsequent world updates have been progressively better and I wish they had left the UK until later. I think they have admitted they would like to revisit it but that will take a long time I fear.
February 3, 20224 yr I really hope there will be a World Update for SE Asia that includes Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong. It can really use an update badly.
