very nice.

One thing that doesn’t work, that is supposed to be fixed, is popping out windows. Supposed to have no frame hit now, but it definitely still does.

Has anyone observed the unusably dark panels in the Cessna Longitude after SU8 beta? They're there, and they function. But there's about an 80% reduction in brightness in the SU8 beta. They're almost unusable during the day, and totally unusable at night. I have nothing in the community folder. I'm talking about the default MSFS panels for the Longitude. The overhead brightness adjustment doesn't work for me. No other aircraft experiences this problem, even those with identical G3000 avionics.

Can anyone test:

LICC Catania, Takeoff 08, Left Turn after Takeoff over the city of Catania.

Massive popping in of buildings (although smooth, the popping in of objects does not look good and reminds me of the days of FSX 🙂 ).

Terrain Level of Detail 100, Objects Level of Detail 100, Buildings, Trees, Grass & Bushes Medium.

Thankful for any help,

Greets,

Markus

P.S. The update went through without issues, top!

Thankful if anyone could try and give report, did not notice that effect before the update.

Greets,

Markus

But when Beta testers report a problem, Dude, and I have beta tested off and on for years, the problems are fixed before release.  That has not happened with MSFS Betas.

They can't fix all reported bugs before every release or they'll never release it.   That's why they regularly publish known bugs and wanted features and their ETA.  That's how it is with products of this complexity.

Cheers.

Yes. I noticed a big improvement on that issue, which always bugged me.

I don't understand it.  You mean they have fixed something not mentioned in the patch notes?  It has happened before I suppose.  I know what you mean by the shimmering roofs in the middle distance, so I sincerely hope they have gone.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I honestly never thought I would see this as fixed. I really hated flying at night because of this

One of my biggest annoyances too! Glad to hear it's fixed

I haven't installed the beta yet but I remember there was a similar issue with the CJ4 PFD from working title in a previous update, where the whole primary display was washed out. If that is a real bug, it has to be fixed. does it happen with both DX11 and DX12?

I haven't tried it yet with DX12. But I'll do that in a moment and report back. Thanks for the feedback.

I switched to DX12 but the problem remained -- nearly invisible panel displays. There is a panel brightness control overhead in the Longitude but it has no effect anymore on the panels. I'm going to see whether I can alter the brightness in the configuration file (if that's possible). It's odd to me that no other aircraft besides the Longitude has this issue. I also find it odd that I seem to be the only person suffering this problem so far. I have the most plain vanilla MSFS installation of anyone on this forum.

Try the WT-G3000 mod, it works as usual for me. there are separate brightness controls for each screen, the one in the overhead panel have nothing to do with the screens.

Dude, why do you always have to derail a thread with your negativity.

Some people, you think "there's not a negative thought in his head".

Other people, it's _all_ there is. 😄
