I (we) have arrived!  🙂

In P3D, I flew the Baytower RV7, the Carenado F33 Bonanza, the Lionheart Kodiak, the Alabeo C421, and for faster flights, the Carenado TBM 850

Now, in MSFS, I fly the SWS RV14, the Rob Young G36 Bonanza, the SWS Kodiak, the FSW C414, and for faster flights, the default TBM 930.

I've got the TDS GTN750 installed in the RV14 and C414, and Working Title avionics in the other aircraft..

P3D has just been sitting there as a testbed for user mod questions from the past which are becoming less frequent, and it is about to be removed altogether, just like FSX before it..

The most amazing thing to me is still, that I can fly MSFS at 30 fps on my over 5 years old rig, with a trusty GTX1070 GPU, all over the world, single or multi-player..

Pretty happy! 😉

Yep - and you're still doing .xml mods HAHA!  I just need a Lancair Legacy turbo in the sim and my life will be complete.

I'm also blown out of my mind by this sim. I'm flying the DCD Concorde all over the world. In my years as a simmer, I've never had so much enlightenment with a sim.

It's too bad Rob Young has absolute disdain for MSFS.

I don't blame him - hard to work on a flight model when Asobo continually changes things.  Heck even I get frustrated making a livery.  It's been more stable now but SU4-SU6 they kept changing tiny details in the texture fallbacks (ever got a pink interior texture etc?)

Over the last few days I have thrown myself into MSFS 2020 as it did frustrate me plus loyalty to Prepar3d(AKA so much money invested in it lol)

However, Now I am getting to grips with MSFS 2020 it is blowing me away, I will keep Prepar3d on as I said previously I have so much invested in it but I feel time to get into the 21st century for flight simming.

On a separate note I own the Real Sim gear 750, which offering in MSFS do you all recommend...I am happy with payware.

Since you're using that I'd go straight to the TDS GTNxi

Thank you Ryan, just checked it out plus the PMS payware version...

Annoyingly they both integrate into different aircraft I own, so I have so may have to buy both...typical..

No I don't. I think it is quite brilliant. Like many others however, I get a bit fed up when Asobo keep updating things which often end up worse, and are slow updating pretty obvious other things which should have been fixed months ago.
