April 14, 20224 yr So what is now correct----are only Beta-testers affected by this issue----or all Microsoft Store users. Mike
April 14, 20224 yr Good set of fixes/updates for the SU9 beta... hopefully fixes some of the issues identified in https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/feedback-for-cfd-simulation-on-c172/508234/258 (first internal adoption of the new CFD features for their Cessna 172). Also waiting to hear from established third party aircraft developers re: how they plan to adopt SU8's propellor physics and SU9's CFD stuff and new soft-body physics etc! Len 1980s: Sublogic FS II on C64 ---> 1990s: Flight Unlimited I/II, MSFS 95/98 ---> 2000s/2010s: FS/X, P3D, XP ---> 2020+: MSFS Current system: i9 13900K, RTX 4090, 64GB DDR5 4800 RAM, 4TB NVMe SSD
April 14, 20224 yr I am not on SU9 beta. Could someone please clarify if the ATC disconnects from the Azure servers and going totally mute are no longer happening? Jacek G. I haven't seen anyone outside the beta complain about the erroneous build issue, so if you are on the live build you shouldn't experience any issues. Olie has also confirmed in the official forums that this new build should fix the issue for beta testers.

Yes, this still happens, but it reverts to any local voices you have. Haven't had it go completely silent. It happened on 2 flights last week, but has not happened since. Seems intermittent for me, sometimes it happens for a few days then stops for a week or 2.
April 14, 20224 yr Looks like they fixed saving extremity dead zone only on X box instead of X box and PC???? Nuts.

April 14, 20224 yr sorry to say, but when I look at these updates .... it's such a chaos, I don't see any common line of fixing specific things ... only the C172 fixes are a reason to be happy. These fixes are such a slow pace and in such chaos, I don't understand it at all, this title is being developed by such a large team of people at Asobo and Microsoft .... SU is released every few months .... each should have specific and really important improvements in weather, flight model, multiplayer, etc etc ... and what we get is a patchwork of random minor or minor corrections ... echhhh. At such a pace, we will not get anything in 5 years' time.

You can always go back to other titles like P3D or FSX and come back in 5 years. Glad to see that these issues are being actively worked on within the beta and it doesnt appear we are in the bad old days where a Service Update would drop without a beta at all or a beta released with absolutely no revisions.
