The amount of liveries and matching ground equipment sounds amazing. I hope this lives up to the hype since it'll be a truly next gen plane that hopefully pushes PMDG etc to innovate.

PMDG has not been the leader in this space for a decade, despite what many state on this site.  They rarely innovate anymore and seem to rehash essentially the same product since FSX…and charge a premium too.  I thought MD80 and Majestic Dash 8 were far more immersive products. The latter was criminally underrated. Regardless, FENIX seems to have hit a home run here and may deserve the admiration we throw at PMDG for past innovation...

I’m not an Airbus guy, but sure looks good, and a great price point too.

 Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.

They buried pmdg with this one. Not only is the prices reasonable for the market it will be released it also comes with 50x the features. I also love the sidekick about the simbrief integration: no need for manual file copying lol

pmdg needs to step up their game. Times are over where selling us the same product for the 5th time is enough

Also not an Airbus guy, but this looks like it will be awesome for all of those who are! Just wish someone like this would come along for either a heavy Boeing or even a heavy Airbus... Can't wait to see the videos on this one!

I dont get why every fenix thread turns into a pmdg bash fest.  Pmdg has its strong and weak areas just like this still unreleased fenix airbus will.   Pmdg has contributed immensly to our hobby and makes great products.  The fenix a320 looks amazing and im sure it will be, ill be buying it for sure and it will sit happily in my hanger next to my 737.

Cos sometimes a company needs a big slap from a competitor to step up their game. Sure I plan to buy some Boeings and they are great but they are still living in P3D feature wise and with their pricing

Ok sure, competition in the market is a wonderful thing.  I still dont get why every fenix thread becomes about pmdg.  People just love to bash pmdg because they have set the bar in the past.  Its dumb.  Bash a company that actually releases junk and doesnt support it instead.

Because there are things that PMDG can be legitimately bashed about?  They make great products, but there's any number of areas where they could be way better.  I hope that fenix (or anybody really) gives PMDG a serious reality check...  On the other hand...

we'll know if this makes Randazzo run for the antacids when it's out and we can see how good it is, not before. settle down on the PMDG funeral plans...

Because wether you want to admit it or not, PMDG released bones compared to this FENIX release. RSR better deliver quality additions with his “2 week” update schedule.

At this point, everything that a simmer needs should be able to be done from within the virtual cockpit seat. The days of having to outsource everything along side the sim is p3d garbage.

“In the past.” Thats the issue. Everyone is saying they aren’t doing it currently. Its more constructive than anything else.

Yeah i wouldnt be planning pmdgs funeral, if the fenix is as good or better it helps everyone by growing the appeal of the hobby and getting new people into airliners.  The fslabs busses in my opinion were a step above pmdg in terms of everything except for visuals and failures and pmdg survived just fine.  There were features that fs labs pioneered that pmdg adopted later on such as dynamic engine sounds that change with air density.  Competition is good.

They haven't set the bar since FSX. Just like the real Boeing Co., stopped innovating. FSL was leaps ahead of them in P3D and now Fenix in MSFS. Facts.
