Stay on topic..."FENIX"  not the other developers!

You right! but I don't blame the Fenix vs. PMDG guys, since there is a hard and real competition between Airbus and Boeing, our is a simulated competition.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

The window edges actually fog up based on humidity and conditions. Was that in the base game or did FENIX do this all themselves?

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone use Process Lasso to determine which cores MSFS (and other programs) use?

We've built automatic affinity masking in the apps. You shouldn't need to mess with it. But, hey, if you want to, be my guest!

Aamir, did any of you folk try it out in VR? Amazing EFB and systems, but performance seems a step down from other airliners? Any chance of future performance tweaks if this actually true?

Anyway, congrats on what you’ve built, day 1 purchase for me, I’m super excited!

Wow, I’m so impressed with the streams. I must admit as a long time summer part of me thought this was to good to be true. It actually appears to be as good as the marketing claims.

Have they mentioned anything about possibly modeling Mike Tyson beating the snot out of that unruly passenger in the cabin? Not sure I can pull the trigger unless this feature is added!

Cheers, Pete

Now that is what I call class! Would be brilliant if every aircraft had these reactions to atmospheric conditions.

So what about that wiping action. Drewling must be now a good term...🥲🤤

I'm sure the outside weather conditions, including humidity, can be detected by the 3rd party developer code.  It's just a matter of adding the code to "fog up" the windows.  But no 3rd party developer wants to go into that much detail in their coding.  Otherwise, they would never release their project.

Which is testament to the detail that Fenix went into.  Windows fog up, the food tray can be brought out, and you can even move the apps around in the tablet.  Even the flaps vibrate like they do in real life.  That's an insane level of detail, IMO.

Airplane looks great! Only thing that throws me off is the font on PFD. Is it just me or does it look a bit off?

Gonna do a little party pooping. Just watched EasyJetPilots landing. Is it just me or does the Fenix seem a little unstable in pitch / power setting when on approach and flown by the autopilot? There were several adjustments where it seemed to me that the pitch correction was a bit "wobbly". It might just be impression.

My goal is to raise awareness to the devs in case this is actually a minor thing to fix.

Happy with MSFS 🙂

Just watching Easysimpilot now. Sounds are amazing. Excuse my ignorance, but is the noise level in the cockpit on the ground THAT loud? I’m curious - what causes the noise?

I also thought it was an autoland, but it was hand flown I think. Doesn't he disconnected the A/P before minimums?

I think it's fairly accurate. I remember the Airline2Sim pilot (James) saying, that the noise from the airconditioning on the flightdeck is extremely loud.
