I'm starting to be glad I did not buy this yet. I will, but I'll wait until most issues are resolved.

I am starting to really regret buying this aircraft. Spent all morning trying load a FP from Simbrief, still unsuccessful, and I figured I will just fly the darn thing, and the autopilot won't even function properly, keeps disconnecting with warning bells going off. I think I should have stayed with GA aircraft . I think this A 320 is going to go into the hangar before the day is out.

Thanks for the warning. Back to my c310.

Jeez, Bob. You’re making me have 2nd thoughts. I’m a small GA guy but thought this might be the one to get me into a complex airliner. I don’t want to spend the money only to hanger it.

They promised a patch today but it hasn't materialised. Maybe there are quite a lot of people experiencing issues. For my part it's running absolutely fine. And performance is fine as well.

Come on Bob if you can fly the DC-6 you cannot seriously fail with the A320!

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Can you quickly outline stepp by step how to load a Simbrief FP into the FMC once you see teh FP on the EFB, load the aircraft with fuel and passengers, and then go to the FMC? Engines running.

If engines are running, the Simbrief flightplan loads into the secondary flightplan on the FMGC.

Are you sure that' the aircraft? You need to be carefully with the procedures, sometimes if you - the pilot - miss something it might be the reason for the autopilot not working than a bug. For me the autopilot works fine so far.

Once it's been imported into the EFB - It's simply the case of being on the INIT page on the MCDU and pressing INIT REQUEST. Give it a moment and it will populate with your flight. But as the above poster as mentioned, if your engines are running it will go to the secondary flightplan as it does in the real aircraft. But if the engines are not running it should be on your normal F-PLN section.

I'm away from my PC but once you've entered your SimBrief pilot ID it's all plain sailing. Just click the button and your latest SimBrief plan will load. You also have to take a photo of the square back and white code thingy for Navigraph,

Yeah, tried tghat too. GFP still devoid of waypoints/

I did that photo thing yesterday, does that have to be done every flight?

The QR code you scan is simply to integrate Navigraph charts with the EFB - It has no relation to Simbrief importing flight plans or not.

Nope. It's a one off. Only thing I can suggest is to check that you have correctly entered your simbrief pilot ID. And to make sure you have a current flight plan compiled in SimBrief.
