Again, the WT G3000, and by extension, the HJet, uses the navdata that is presently installed into the sim. The stock sim navdata is exceptional for the US and quite good elsewhere, but there is the option to subscribe to Navigraph and install the Navigraph navdata into the sim if you would prefer that. Navigraph uses Jeppesen data as it's navdata source, which is more or less the same as what Garmin uses. Either way, the navdata is generally good enough no matter which way you go and I wouldn't focus too heavily on that aspect. Which do you use? What is the Aviation Database (Navdata) Cycle / Date in your Garmin3000 (HJet)? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 31, 20224 yr 1 quick test flight in. Hand flys nice, however my issue is the logitech auto pilot panel does not work for setting altitude, vs or ias dials. Ugh, trying to use the mouse to control all the knobs and buttons is a big no from me. Shame. I set the ILS vor1 frequency which was recieved, but when I selected approach, the PFD switched to vor2 and the soft key to change this was locked out. Had to turn off approach to be able to change, hence the hand flying. Hoping these issues can be sorted or worked around, might try AAO and see if i can get the auto pilot controls working before I retire it to the hangar.

Ugh, trying to use the mouse to control all the knobs and buttons is a big no from me. Shame. Yep, confirmed, same issue here (even with WT G3000 not in Community folder this time). 2nd test flight Confirmed, the following functions engage correctly when the mouse click spots are activated, but are not binded to MSFS keyboard commands: TOGA (correct "TO TO" annunciation when the tiny clickspot on the side of the throttle is pressed, but nothing when the MSFS TOGA assigned key is used, FLC (dead, nothing), VS (dead, nothing), VS DECREASE, VS INCREASE (abnormal behaviour, moves in increments of 10 FPM) VNAV: All over the place again, on second flight. Hand flying characteristics: Very twitchy on the pitch axis. Takes a lot to get it rotating, then when it does, pitches up very quickly; difficult to fly smoothly on the pitch axis. I can completely live with points 2 and 3 below, but point 1 above is a killer - I have to say I am very disappointed that the developer forgot (or chose not to) bind half of the important AP functions to MSFS's default key commands. These are default AP systems, linked to default key commands BTW; we're not talking complex, custom AP modes like 'Profile' in a MD-11. This one is in the hangar for me for now - it's just not enjoyable to fly for me, in it's current state. With some small fixes from the developer, it could be great. There are G3000 manuals available for other planes online for free, and not in any kind of shady places, just direct from the Garmin website.

Real plane has a rear CG, so this is pretty true to life behavior. You can't just rotate like the CJ4 etc. You need to rotate then add a touch of forward pressure so you don't over rotate. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

May 31, 20224 yr @Simple B (and others interested in key commands), I've just attempted to assign every possible variable for FLC, VS, etc, in AAO - with no luck. Our only hope (other than the dev recognising this omission and adding the assignments; a default aircraft level of functionality), is a genius like @guenseli mapping out the actualy LVARs that the clickspots are using, and building a script for AAO. 🙂 Edited May 31, 20224 yr by JYW Bill 😎FS2024 • Currently in 'GA mode' : A2A Comanche 2024 & Aerostar • Black Square C208, Bonanzas, Barons, TBM850, Dukes • COWS DA40 & DA42 • Bluesky Grumman AA5 • FSW Legacy, C24R Sierra & C414 • Echo Falco F8L • FFX HJET, Visionjet and P180 2024 • Got Friends A32 Vixxen • FSReborn Sirius TL3000, Sting S4 and Piper M500 • Flyboy Rans S6S • Skyward DA50RG • SWS Zenith CH701, RV-8, RV-10, RV-14, PC12 • Milviz C310R • Air Foil Labs Bristell B23 TrackIR • BeyondATC • PMS GTN Payware • RealTurb • Axis & Ohs • FS Realistic Pro9800X3D • RTX 3080 • 64GB DDR5-6000Former PPL IR, grounded by diabetes. I'm still able to lift off gently, but the nose has the tendency to waver (go up & down) a little. That's why I say is overly sensitive. I'm sure this can be tweaked. MSFS
