That's one of the main reasons I bought the premium deluxe version.  I was surprised that it didn't come in the standard, but microsoft must have been looking for ways to get more money out of us.

Well, considering that every additional plane and airport in the premium deluxe edition breaks down to exactly 2.50€, I think that's a reasonable price to pay.

In the marketplace the C170 by Carenado:

And for 1940's Art Deco interior we have the Airplane Heaven Cessna 140 !

I fly both of those early Cessnas more than the default 152 and 172...

People who didn't buy the premium pack are missing out on a bargain I think - you get quite a bit of extra value for the money.  I fly the steam 172 all of the time and I love it.

It's one of the main reasons I got premium, steam DA40 and steam C172. Although I spend most of my time in the Bonanza with the improvement project and NXI.

Agree.

I'd have paid the extra for Deluxe, purely for the steam gauge C172 and the SR22 alone.  The steam gauge C172 is a real beauty now, as is the SR22 (both after numerous updates).

I don't think I've ever flown in the additional deluxe airports, I bought Premium Deluxe purely for the additional planes and 2 years later, feel it was well worth it.

Hey Jarnie

I know it's not a 172 but the JPLogistics free enhancement of the 152 is well worth checking out:

Cheers!

This is true.  They also have big plans for v2, including adding a tail dragger version.

I got the deluxe version but in the C172 steam gauge half of the GPS doesn't work for me.......a right ****er😕

The premium deluxe is good value per aircraft/airport.  You pick up some real gems like the Steam c172, the Baron and the Pipistrel.

That said the c140 from Aeroplane Heaven mentioned above is a great aircraft (engine a touch loud but just turn it down) ... here is 25 minutes in the c140 (NZ South Island), doing what it does best, just plodding along looking at the scenery ...

Classic MS Cessna 172 with Steam gauges VOR RNAV radio panels.

I purchased the Premium just for the C-172, I love the full set of steam gauges but unfortunately it did not come with all of the Radio panels that I love. As I have a Logitech panel/gauge setup, I sometimes dont set them up and just jump straight into MSFS, so I would like the same gauge setup on the in-game panel. And because I still use paper charts I have no need for a GPS or map on my panel.

I am prepared to pay extra just to get these radio panels..  so this goes on my wish list in the #1 spot.

Same here. Also purchased the Premium for the 172 steam gauges and was VERY disappointed to see it had a GPS... and no DME at all. Luckily my 'old school flying' wishes have been fullfilled with the Milviz C310 which has an option to select an old school panel without GPS and with DME. Highly recommended!
