Sometime around 1984, I was present when another "finalist" made his bid for the Darwin Award.  I was at a baseball game at Candlestick Park.  I was sitting in the lower deck and less than a minute after the game concluded, there was a commotion about 150 feet to the right of where I was sitting. Some people started yelling that someone had fallen off the upper deck.  He didn't survive.  It was later reported that witnesses saw that this person had been drunk, and at the end of the game, he was agitated by the outcome of the game and ran down the stairs toward the edge of the deck, yelling at the field, and when he reached the railing, stumbled and flipped over it, meeting his demise on the concrete below.  The next day I talked to my brother over the phone about this, saying "Can you imagine that? Spending your last moments on this planet drunk, being mad and screaming at the Giants for loosing a game?"  He replied "Imagine his funeral. Suppose his boss is there and the family wants him to say a few words about the deceased? What would you say? That he was a drunken moron?"

So how will this guy in San Antonio be eulogized? "He sacrificed his life to be the life of the party."

Where these people come from the proper quote would be:

It Doesn't Take Rocket Appliances To Figure It Out  🤣

I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

It's seems my favorite expression is getting quite a little workout over the past few years:  There's no cure for stupid

I don't shoot sky rockets on the 4th. But the guy straight across the street from us did. My animals did want to watch like we did (they never do, they hide).

Anyway they brought out one rocket at a time from the garage and lit it off. Instead of stacking up all the boxes of explosives near the launch stake.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

One of my internet friends had his house burned nearly to the ground due to a neighbor setting off fireworks.  One of the shells hit his roof, wedged between shingles and chimney and set the roof on fire.  His house was fully involved by the time the fire department arrived.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

I think it would be appropriate to change the text in the upper left corner to "SimpliUnsafe"

Just sayin'...
