Absolutely. I've flown their analog Caravan more than any other aircraft for the last 1-2 months. This is of the same fidelity. The systems depth is amazing. They've implemented state saving, a comprehensive failures package (if you're into that), working circuit brakers... The flight model with JayDee's tweaks is really good. The aircraft can be handled on the ground easily which can not be said of the default version. It's a very versatile IFR aircraft without any avionics addons. With the TDS GTNXi it's complete. You can go anywhere, do a world tour if you'd like. It's got a pressurized cabin, can climb to FL350, it's fast, climbs easily at 3000fpm, it can land on relatively short runways, got a "sort of" working beta range (Asobo limitations)... I could go on and on. I highly recommend it - and get the FTSim+ sounds - the default sounds don't do justice to the turbine engines. I really hope Black Square is not working on any more steam gauge overhauls for default aircraft, or I'll have to quit my day job or retire early to have enough time to fly them 🙂 EDIT: Back on v.0.1.0 and TDS is not working, go figure. I'm in contact with TDS over at their discord. EDIT2: Got a very quick answer from the devs: Quote We can confirm that this is a SU11 Beta/DX12 bug that is work in progress for the MSFS team. This is not an issue on our end, so we must wait for the proper SU11 release in order to have proper functionality, as this issue affects all other add-ons using WASM/glass as well, not just us. This is the problem with installing early betas and the reason for a beta, unexpected/new problems occur. And when they do not depend on the add-on developer, there must be patience of course, the solution with SU11 Beta is to revert to DX11 and all will be fine Went back to DX12 and everything is fine. October 14, 20223 yr Commercial Member All owners of the Analog King Air - Today has been frustrating, the excellent update became unstable soon after release and we released a quick hotfix, that helped some bits but caused other issues, which you've been experiencing. Black Square, with help from volunteers have worked frantically for the past few hours to get things sorted. We think that's happened now so a new version has been uploaded and you should head to your account and redownload. The version is still numbered 0.1.1. Sorry for the inconvenience. Today was sent to test us, that's for sure. Here's a direct message from Nick at Black Square: SPECIAL THANKS TO JAYDEE AND NICOTINE70 – When v1.1 was released, there was a bug that would prevent the engines from starting. This was the result of an undocumented change to the engines.cfg file in SU11 Beta, which all the developers and testers of the Analog King Air just happened to be subscribed to. This allowed the bug to go unnoticed until release. As soon as the bug was reported, it took the hard work of my volunteers, and cooperation of many on the forums to find the error, and fix it. We are very sorry for this interruption in your enjoyment of the Analog King Air, and hope that you will now be able to enjoy the new v1.1 features and improved flight characteristics in this aircraft. Thank you all for your patience.

Tail number is not recognized because cleared out the ATC ID line in the aircraft.cfg. I had to do this because otherwise you'll see a white dynamic registration display over top the hand painted one in the exterior view. There is a way around this if I use a custom panel.cfg but when I do this you get white screens with GNS or PMS gtn. I noted something about a panel.noreg in the new update but haven't read it yet. October 15, 20223 yr Since installing 1.1b the engines won't start. I have to use Cntrl+E. I'm on SU10 and not in the beta anymore. Shouldnt there be separate versions of the plane for SU10 and SU11? Edited October 15, 20223 yr by jarmstro
