Live weather inop again?

Featured Replies

Working perfectly for me.  If anything, weather is more accurate and timely than ever.   Wonder if the optional update has anything to do with this?

yep clear skies everywhere for me as well.

Same for me, clear skies all day.  I just restarted the sim, though, and now I am stuck on checking for updates...

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Clear skies everywhere.

did a flight CLT-MHT had the best weather I've seen leaving CLT since way before SU7, Rain multiple overcast layers that looked like smooth stratus clouds and a high overcast of thinner cirrus. Once past that landed in MHT with clear skies everywhere. METAR in sim just says unavailable

It's not uncommon in some countries and regions to not have metars available.  However, for today's flight, I had already accessed up-to-date metars for both my departure and my destination airports prior to even starting MSFS.

Once in-sim, it stated that metars were not available for either location (which I already new was not true), so something was really messed up today with the live weather system for some of us.

Yeah, no clouds anywhere for me too.

For those getting no clouds. Try turning off online services in the DATA menu and then turn them back on. Has worked to restore clouds for some users.

Classic Asobo, they should let the big boys of weather simulation take a swing at it, but they won’t. SAD.

Asobo's weather is amazing, when it works.

That’s they key isn’t it. “When it works.”
