Update (2022-10-12 @ 1620Z): We are currently investigating reports that Live Weather may be intermittent for some players. We will provide an update when we have more information to share.

Thats taken from MSFS General Discussion forum

Things like this really makes you appreciate how good we had it with active sky lol.

That was a great program.  MSFS has been better since about SU8 or so.  And the clouds look better since SU10 (well they looked really good during the early days but then were dumbed down ). But yeah I miss having spot on cloud bases and visibility for practice approaches.

Same. I haven't had clouds all day no matter the real world conditions. It's apparently a known issue after the server cluster migration.

Tried REX and it nearly killed my rig during a weather transition. Awful 😖

True. I think myself I've never appreciated it enough. Maybe one downtime in 10 years. With MSFS we have 1 downtime per month.

I had the same but I switched in the options data menu live weather multiplayer online traffic off and then on again.

Now it works again

I am beginning to think the lack of clouds in live weather has more to do with the Beta drop then the cloud services update.....there appears to be quite a few weather changes in the beta change log.....

This didn't work for me.  What's weird is under my account name it says the servers are offline. Usually, you can't get in the sim when you can't reach the Azure servers.

I used MSFS live wx instead of REX WF for approximately 6 months with very good results.  But since SU10 I have returned to REX WF.  Did so to avoid the unusual SU10 induced buffetting and shear on short final. Just unrealistic and ruined several flights late after time spent.  Having better results now by far with REX WF and I have not observed the type of weather transition issues reported by others,  Wonder if both sides of this issue are due to server and/or provider issues.

Side Note:  I had winds but no clouds/haze depicted either.

I was wondering whether the server change had something to do with this - I had nothing but light haze for a flight in the Philippines that should have included several overcast areas.  The winds were fairly accurate but the clouds were totally missing.

This was a surprise, as Live Weather has really been accurate for me lately.

Clouds are missing for me too…the rest is certainly working right now though.  Winds and turbulence are knocking me around pretty hard crossing the Rockies in the new King Air right now 😃

Same here. Winds seems like there but clear skies everywhere.

Wasn't there somewhere a topic about server cluster migration. Could it be it?
