It would be a full reinstall so I'm not going to do it unless I have to, but I'm going to give up trying to work out all the bad combinations of add-ons though as it's just too complex. Mod A and Mod B run OK together Mod A and Mod C run OK together Mod B and Mod C run OK together Mod A , Mod B and Mod C together cause the sim to CTD on launch. I wonder if something has changed with the Virtual File system handling that is resulting in weird conflicts but without proper crash logging I lack to the tools or experience to go any deeper into the problem.

This sort of thing is to be expected. No existing add-ons are yet ready for SU11 - it just came out - and is beta software. Developers are unlikely to issue hot fixes until SU11 is officially released. If you don’t want to deal with crashes or misbehaving add-ons, why join the beta? When joining a MSFS beta, I first create a folder called “backup” and transfer the entire contents of the Community folder to it with the “move” command, then add them back one-by-one as I test for any problems. I don't think there is a single addon - I fear it's different combinations of addons that work fine on their own or with most other addons but clash with certain ones and CTD the sim.

Someone suggested entering the beta again and all returned. I'm assuming that some of this is now syncd to the cloud and my data is now bound with a separate storage 'location' in my Xbox account, inaccessible by SU10 RTM at least. Curious to hear if you get all of that back after your reinstallation. Good luck!

Been flying in Norway earlier today in lots of weather - moderate winds, turbulence. I think something's improved. I really liked how the aircraft (analog King Air) behaved. Just need to do more testing. Got sidetracked a bit with a new update to the King Air and been doing some testing for Henrik Nielsen in the Mediterranean with fair weather and not much wind. 4 hours ago, JSmith2112 said: Funny that you ask, I was just playing with it and started doing some reading up on reflex. I can't see much difference myself so was going to ask what other people are getting. Here's one link: Nvidia Reflex explained: how to get low latency with your GeForce GPU | PCGamesN I've had it on for a couple of flights, but didn't notice any difference. Since this is MSFS and not Call of Duty I'm going to turn it off. Like I've got ultra low latency off in NCP. 2 hours ago, toby23 said: I might have missed this but is it possible to use the FSLTL models and liveries to replace the MSFS real world online AI in the SU11 beta YES. But - the model matching is borked. So you'll see a lot more pointy-noses nonsense generic models with generic liveries. BUT - the AI are behaving much more like real airliners. It's very promising, but we're not there yet. Are we, @DAD? 44 minutes ago, JRBarrett said: If you don’t want to deal with crashes or misbehaving add-ons, why join the beta? Maybe go easy on the guy, no need to rub it in lol. Anyway many people have said that even with a backup of the Official folder a full reinstall of the xxx gigabytes is required if you opt out. Anyway you mentioned the community folder so not really sure what you mean there. I have all my addons stored in a separate folder and managed by the indispensable Addons Linker. October 14, 20223 yr After a day or so testing, I'm really happy with the performance improvements. I have a powerful machine (5800x3d, 3090ti, 32GB), so it was pretty good before, but it's definitely smoother and just more optimized. DX12 mode, 60 FPS locked, 4K Ultra, Fenix. I don't get 60 FPS at a big airport, but it's anywhere between 35-55 FPS with an average around 45, which is very smooth. This is shaping up nicely.
October 14, 20223 yr I'm doing a reinstall right now. I could not get any flights to complete in the Fenix or the 737. Fenix flights kept hanging during climb or cruise. The 737 screens were all scrambled. At this point I just want to go back to the release version so I can complete a few flights. I'll jump back into the Beta later on. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
