This fix does remove GA traffic injected by FSLTL because only the default C172 and TBM930 have specific AI models - all the others are high-res flyable planes which can reduce FPS and cause stutters on some PC's. Yeah, saw that one too. I think he’s replacing one of the files in the Official folder, much like Phantoms freeware GA. Thing is though, when real-time online is so much better in the beta, and FSLTL is half broken, I see no reason to disable default traffic at the moment.
