Sim update version 1.29.30.0 BETA ONLY

Featured Replies

I am still puzzled that they have these hiccups. Anyway, good FPS improvement in the A310 for me, and much smoother. Now at similar level as the Fenix or even slightly better in terms of perfo.

Well, another official fake update thread. Please specify it's a beta in the title.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE would posters include BETA in the subject line whenever they post a "Sim Update" topic when it applies only to beta versions!

It's a bit confusing though, and probably unprecedented, to have a beta after a final release. But having said that I'm very happy they decided to do it this way. I'm not even going to whine about no AI traffic changes, as I'm too hooked on the A310 right now 🙂

When am I ever going to find the time to try gliders and helicopters?

Nice, maybe I will be finally able to use this aircraft.

hurry, the WorkingTitle AAU1 beta will be here next month. That will be the first time I am seriously considering the Citation Longitude as an alternative for long haul, intercontinental flights. for some light reading, they have already uploaded the 140 pages systems manual so we can make ourselves comfortable:

https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/763804431413673984/1043264042493562982/Cessna_Model_700_Operators_Guide.pdf

"This will be the first of several Aircraft and Avionics Updates (AAUs) for MSFS over the course of 2023, so there's even more to look forward to down the road! We're incredibly excited to be improving these parts of the simulations along with our teammates and friends at Microsoft and Asobo.

AAU1 will be releasing in January, with opt-in public beta flighting to begin before the end of this year. This will work just like all the other Sim Update beta test flights, and will be delivered via the normal sim update system. "

This is getting really crazy, every few days ANOTHER UPDATE is posted, and it only applies to a few people.

Yeah, amazing isn't it? Shows they are really trying to fix issues ASAP. Love it.

Had no idea it applies to the beta version only when I posted.

Just started the sim and now I'm getting another update. No idea if this is beta or for everyone.

Intel Core i5-12600k, Nvidia RTX 4070 Super, 128 Gigs.

Updated title to add beta

5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW  and 2  22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU,  360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

Can anyone who's been seeing the performance issues with the A310 comment on whether this update improves things ?
