I just upgraded to the Amphibian and during the install process it asks me which install method I want to use:

1. Full

2. Addon

I chose "Full". I assume that is the standalone installation?

I bought both versions from the Marketplace and don't remember being asked that. I would have selected full also.

As best I know, the "Addon" option uses the installed wheels version for some components, saving space..

So yes, "Full" would be standalone.

I couldn't figure out which update to run, the wheels or amphibian, so I ran both.  

 

version  1.4 is at Simmarket

How do I get the update?
 

OH - never mind - I was just being inpatient but now I can download the newest version.

Thanks all, for your input. I use the invaluable  "Addon Linker", so not too worried about disk space, thus "Full" Install. But I did notice the Amphibian version I downloaded is still 1.36.

UPDATE: OK, I jumped the gun. I re-downloaded the installation file from the SWS website and it is now version 1.4.  I guess when I downloaded the original purchase, the file had not been updated at that point.

Simworks site must be hammered. All I get when trying to log in is oops 404 error.

I read in an email that there is a new way of starting the kodiak in this new update. But I have lost the email and I don't find any information on documentation (would be nice to add the version number we have installed any place) Can someone put a little of light here please?

I just follow the checklist and it starts as normal (V 1.4)
