For me, with XP12 nothing seems to change with any combination of antialising in NVP and X-Plane but people swear it does make a difference for them https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/278937-gained-10-15-fps-with-this/ Hasn't worked for me either in 11 or 12.. Never has, never will. "IMO" something they code in keeps NCP from putting the AA hooks in it. December 8, 20223 yr apparantly RC3 completely wrecked the Rotatesim MD-11 according to the developer (I havent tested it in the air myself, since FPS were so poor on the ground in RC3). "So, big news. XP12 RC3 is out, and it is including some flight model changes that make the aircraft fly like s**t.Lift and Drag are completely messed up and that also makes the AFS not being able to guide the aircraft correctly. This means at the moment, this aircraft is hardly flyable. We are working on this at the moment." source: https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/279064-md-11-v106-for-testing/&do=findComment&comment=2466490 Edited December 8, 20223 yr by SAS443 EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12

December 8, 20223 yr Hi, Latest Nvidia drivers (527.56) seems to have smooth out some of my flickers, but the loss of frame rate issue at dusk/dawn is still there. At dusk, soon as the sun drops below the horizon frames rates come up... Same at dawn, soon as the sun break the horizon frame rates drop. December 9, 20223 yr Ok anyone with AMD gpu here? It was looking nice and running smooth in beta but since the RCs its a mess and I even see just 20fps in the default 172 sitting on ground now. Just checked with RC3 but still far away from the smoothness of the beta and AA looking terrible. Getting slightly mad here... Cheers T.

Have you tried deleting the shadercache folder. renaming the preferences folder (so you can put back the control settings after). I had to do both if these moving to RC1 or it wouldnt even start. Ive seen people say deleting the shadercache folder never works/is placebo. But I confirmed it by restoring the old one, so if you ever see anyone say this please let them know they are wrong. You also need the very latest gpu drivers, Laminar are so on the cutting edge here they are using gpu features almost to the day after they are released by amd/nvidia. Shadercache I did but it looks like placebo indeed. Preferences folder I will try. I'm a bit splitted with latest driver. I'm usually on the latest officially recommended by amd but looks like there is indeed a new one from yesterday Adrenalin 22.11.2 Recommended (WHQL) 8.12.2022 Looks like will play around with it then... Thx for the feedback. Cheers T.
December 9, 20223 yr ...and just for feedback... shadercache deleted again, newest latest gpu driver, preferences renamed... same. And as there is no real difference between full maxed or low settings I'm still puzzled. Especially cause I had around 40-50fps in Beta maxed out. Trouble started with RC. Cheers T.

Equation got fixed for 12rc3 All swept wing aircraft need to be fixed because they were all tuned for the wrong equation Critical mach number for each airfoil needs to be set in Airfoil Maker, wing sweep should be correct in PlaneMaker Engine thrust at altitude and body and flap drag must to be readjusted to restore correct performance It may be annyoing for devs to implement as it involves lots of flight testing, but the long-term benefit is yet another replacement of unrealistic inputs to have something perform correctly with realistic inputs out of the box.
