SimWorks Studios is developing the B-52

Yes !, this is great, day one buy, looking forward to a NB-52 "Balls Eight" paint with a X-15 or HL-10 at some point down the road a ways.

Worked on and around B-52s back in my Air Force days, ZERO desire to ever sit in a simulation of one.

Don't miss the sounds, smell of these bombers nor Barksdale AFB in general .🤣

Cool to see someone take interest in it though.

I really hope that we can get a Slim Pickets mod where we can ride the bomb.

I9-9900, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3090 FTW

This does look pretty cool, never interested in military simulation but may have a go at this one. I would love a high level C-17 done, now that I would definitely get.

The question I have is how will the throttle set up work? I suppose the workround would have to be one throttle lever for each pair of engines. The thought of having two bravo quadrants set up just boggles the mind - you would have to have some serious octopus hands to manage some thing like that.

You can set it up to how you would with a 747 - Where if you only have 2 leavers, both control all 4 engines for example.

Vote to fix transparent  sun visors having no effect on the sun glare effect in MSFS at: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sun-shades-sun-visors-not-influencing-light-in-cockpit/691565/

This is great news!

I've always been a bit mystified that the big military jets haven't been well represented in flight sim.

I can kinda understand bombers and esp strike aircraft, but the airlifters should be a no-brainer. Plus a lot more fun to fool around in than any airliner, e.g.: -20,000 fpm descent is actually an official profile !

Anyhow...BUFF? From SWS? Sign me UP! 🙂

Super interesting news indeed!
