Any ETA on the PMDG 747 in MSFS?

If I were a betting man (I don't bet) and at this rate probably mid 2024 or late 2024. They will get the 777's our first (even the 77X) and then the MAX out somewhere in between.

PMDG first claimed the 747 would be out in mid 2022. Coming up on 2023 and they have not even finished up on the 739. Its still 18 months away .😆

I couldn't care less about the 900, I am just glad its finally going to be released so that development can speed up on the 777 hopefully! Fingers crossed 2023 we will see the T7 in MSFS, I long for the 777!

Wouldn’t fly that even for free. The 800 is enough. And charging extra 60 for an updated exterior model has its own taste

Well, I would not be surprised if PMDG decide to release a full package with all the 737NG under 100$, a month or two after the -900 is out.

If this is the case, then why haven't they done that with the P3D version of the NG as I'm sure sales are at a crawl? PMDG is not know for there killer discounts or bundles.

RSR already hinted that could happen, but not before some time after all the NG were out. Also, that could be a good strategy, to incite people who did not buy all variants because of the price, but would still like to get the full collection.

Good to know but RSR hints about a lot of things. Still waiting on the GFO hint from several years ago, 😉

A whole host of reasons why that hasn't happened I'm sure - the person who seemed to be most involved in GFO was fired from PMDG a year or so ago. I doubt we will see it.

Yes, I've been debating which of the PMDG 737's to get, but I think I might skip them altogether and wait for the 777.

If you get the -700 & fly the BBJ, you get legit 6,000nm range.

Not a bad way to pass the time until 777 arrives.

Does anyone know what aircraft are planned right now and in what order?

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

More like 4 or 5 years ago…

I don't think RSR could tell you that right now, tbh.

Sure he could. Any company has a defined product roadmap. Yes, it'll flex - but they'll know what their sequencing looks like. How could you run a business by not knowing what you're doing?
