If you get the -700 & fly the BBJ, you get legit 6,000nm range.

Not a bad way to pass the time until 777 arrives.

Thanks for the info. Does the BBJ -700 have the longest range of all the PMDG 737s ?

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

Yes - 737-7 BBJ has the longest range. Just add the additional ~8 or 9 (can't remember how many exactly) AUX fuel tanks via FMC.

Not holding my breath for -900 either. Looking forward for MAX and 777, 747.

Always puzzled me why PMDG can't meet any deadlines and expectations regarding its products, for example EFB delay, etc.

I mean, PMDG has over 20 years of experience in Flight Sim business, so in theory they should have better know how than any other developer in the market and should now how much time development process will take. Why PMDG much struggle in that area?

Maybe it's better for sales to keep the hype up by predicting rather close relase dates instead of saying "nah, the 777 will take at least until 2024". I mean the initial prediction at the start of 2021 was the 737 surely released in 2021 (!), the 777 possibly released at the end of 2021 (!!) and the 747 most likely to be released in spring of 2022. How is that possible otherwise?

Anyway I'm looking forward to the EFB in summer 2022!

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Do we at least know what it will include, did RSR communicated anything about it?

Performance calculations, simbrief integration, all the FMC airline/equipment options now moved to the FMC, IIRC weight & balance / aircraft loading from the FMC... that's what I remember. Also I remember that it will definitely NOT include CPDLC.

Sounds quite complete

EFB is AWOL again? Is this deliberate?

Great, thanks for that. 👍

Wasn't there a post in November on the PMDG forums claiming a "beta version" of the EFB was about to be released to testers?

I cannot imagine the 777 when will be released.

But, despite that, PMDG is one of the best and solid company in this sector, so i have only respect for their work.

I'm not expecting anything 777-related before the end of Summer 2023. And i'm being _VERY_ optimistic.

CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11

I am hoping for Engine Failure Procedures, but I realize this likely won‘t happen (anytime soon).

Looks like PMDG is doing the bare minimum they can get away with.

Hopefully this means the 777 now has a clear path ahead. Enough 737s already.

I wonder if the 777-200ER will make it through, didn't seem to have a lot of fans in P3D maybe because it was too late and with the same old panel?

I think PMDG will prioritize the 737 MAX because they are in race with IFly to release the first 737 MAX in MSFS.

So ironically, I think the 777 from PMDG may be delayed a little.
