February 10, 20233 yr Another bug I've noticed is that the throttle doesn't move when you advance it with a controller. You can move it with the mouse, but with the controller, the throttle visually stays at idle even though the plane responds to throttle input properly. I couldn't place the throttle handle to the right to the cutoff position. If some helpful pilot gives me a hand on was went wrong, I'll be very much appreciated. Apart of this, the new G3000 is a wonder, and the aircraft is a joy to fly. You can do it with the mouse. Move the throttle to the gate with the left mouse button then tap the right mouse button without releasing the left button.

This did work but unfortunately also caused a new issue, a short rumble sound during descend with a landing gear warning.

February 13, 20233 yr Here's a mini problem. Is there a way to get rid of the smudges on the windshield? Tom
February 13, 20233 yr The night lighting is disappointing. You either can't see anything or it's too bright and the taxi and landing lights are basically useless. In real life you can feel for switches and knobs with your fingers and just having name indicators lit is probably fine. In FS though, you have to actually see where these are since you have to use a mouse to actuate them. You need more illumination in the sim than you would IRL. The upper panel switches on the TBM at night completely disappear and you can't tell what position they are in.

I use AAO to configure throttles and the throttle in the cockpit doesn't move for me either (although the plane response normally to throttle and all is otherwise well). I guess this is an issue with 3rd party config software controlling the throttle in the TBM. February 19, 20233 yr I enjoy the AAU 1 update for the TBM. But what I'm really missing is the integration of Navigraph charts. It has been abandoned wit AAU 1 without further notice (at least I'm not aware of it). Its again kinda 2 step forwards one step back update philosophy. Can we expect charts in near future? On what does it depend to get them back? - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

On what does it depend to get them back? Because AAU1 is now an official part of MSFS, (rather than a Working Title independent add-on) they cannot include anything by Navigraph at this time. That would require formal licensing agreements between Microsoft and Navigraph. That may not be possible, since MS already has a contractual relationship with NavBlue to supply nav data and charts for MSFS. Of course, although “NavBlue Charts” were promised back when MSFS was first released, they have never materialized. Microsoft/Asobo should have partnered with Navigraph (instead of NavBlue) back when MSFS was in the planning stages, considering that both Navigraph (and Jeppesen) have a long history of support for flight simulation - but what’s done is done.
