February 13, 20233 yr Just had a 180 second freeze. No idea what it was about, but everything else (FSUIPC, SLC, FSFO, AIG) kept running like the sim was fine. Then the sim loaded the next frame and I was shooting up from FL340 at an unusual attitude, pax screaming. Weirdest thing ever. Never seen it before, but it happened. Over a 2 minute freeze. Only thing I did today was update the sim, as I haven't played in a few months. Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Could it be a factor?: Azure deployed a fix that seems to have mitigated intermittent Live Weather outages. Asobo Studio will monitor the situation over the weekend to make sure the problem is fixed. A faulty SSD can hang the system if I/O is needed, e.g. Windows swapfile usage when under load. However I don't see anything obvious in that activity log, and the spikes aren't of the same timing Jack reports.
February 13, 20233 yr Another 2 minute (approx) tonight while doing KLAX to KSFO. This is becoming rather annoying !!!

February 13, 20233 yr Same from me, Jack, I have theories, but I’ll keep them to myself. I just wish you good luck. Rudy, Rudy, Rudy, I mean Jack, Jack! Anecdotally, I had something that was going every 10 minutes, would hit the fps counter hard, and buzz static on the speakers. I have since been using something called “Game Mode” on my system app Killer Networking, which ends unneeded processes and the 10 minute anomaly is gone. Best wishes! February 13, 20233 yr Is anyone who are experiencing that issue using Samsung 980 or 990 m.2 NVME drives? The 990 is having a serious problem where it degrades much faster than usual. The 980 also has a problem with this, but not as severe. And if you update it with Samsung Magician the problem goes away. Since we're still clutching at straws I thought I would just throw it out there. (No I haven't read all 24 pages before posting this).
