They arent staying anonymous, its just that pulling out, regrouping and making a statement takes time.
But in a few forums, you can see them openly talk about leaving .to.

Aw, thank you. 

Worst case scenario I'll create my own site and hide everything behind 45 minutes of countdowns and ads for things no one's ever heard of. And then maybe it'll point to a broken link too. 

It's time people suffered like I have.

You've given me a better idea.

People have to physically visit to receive a file and be regaled with hours of uproarious Blender fail anecdotes before they're permitted to leave. Not that I speak very often so it will be pre recorded by Martin Jarvis and played while the recipient is unblinkingly stared at. 

It won't be in Ashburton, though I do like it. 

It will be interesting to see if some heavyweights come together, or just scatter to the four winds. I can imagine some of the biggest freeware might end up on Orbx as it's trickling in on there, but they won't welcome airports.

Funny I have friends that are shocked that I dont have an active amazon subscription, netflix, youtube tv, spotify. They dont realize the walls started caving in on my safe place (flight sim) a few years ago and the subs just keep stacking up

Thanks… I didn‘t noticed this section when I had a first look and temporarily unlisted my livery. But now I was able to ask for deleting it and got a positive response just one minute later.

Thanks for that information. I am deleting my material as well. I wouldn't if they hadn't created a deadline (March 5) to delete your files, but be it as it may.

We get it, you dont INTEND on doing it NOW, but still have a ToS that says you could so....

I'll continue to use Flightsim.to for free no matter the wait time nor ads. As for freeware uploaders I feel your pain, and understand if you are ready to depart.

I feel it would be pretty disingenuous of me to come here to bash the website while still going there everyday downloading all those great freeware mods at my leisure. 

Not a single penny has left my pocket for the gigs upon gigs of freeware I've downloaded from there, so I'm in no position to complain about anything.
