A Long Range BizJet Luxury Experience - Which Developer?

Featured Replies

The AAU1 upgrade to the Longitude, the CJ4, the TBM 930 are great, and so is their incorporation into the VLBJs like the Honda and the Vision Jet.

However, I'm wondering who the first developer is who is going to deliver the first long range business jet that is study level, with no gap between aesthetics and avionics, that is to say, beautiful texturing inside and out as well as a fully modeled avionics suite.

For example, the Dassault Falcon 6X.

My sense is, I'll be waiting a very long time...........

PMDG BBJs are available. A bit bigger than what you're looking for, perhaps?

I'd love to see it.  Aerobask has their FA8X just around the corner for xp12.  Show me a quality Global 7500 or something, Falcon 8x/900/2000S, even the Gulfstream.  I'd even take a older C750 if it were done right.

I'm using the BBJ ever since it purchased it. Works like a charm for all kinds of mission. short, longhaul...give it a go.

But i agree a "real" Bizjet in the manner of Falcon, Gulfstream or GLEX would be nice.

The G6 is easily one of the sexiest planes out there.

The best business jet ever made for a desktop simulator is the challenger 650 for X plane by Hotstart, it is phenomenal, I tell you, if you get your head into it and learn it etc you won’t look back, there is nothing can touch it…league if it’s own by miles but if you only fly FS2020 then we will have to wait but I doubt nothing will come near to the 650.

I think this won't happen. There was no modern study level business jet for P3D even after all these years. Probably not worth the market share of business jets. The Hotstart 650 is only profitable because it costs a fortune (130 dollars I think) and it's hands down the most study level aircraft ever produced in any commercial flight sim, which will make people buy it that have no interest in business jets or X-Plane, just to experience it (like me).

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Flying a non-G3000 longrange biz jet will remain a dream.....

I'd gladly pay a premium for a quality (both aesthetics and avionics-wise) plane like this for MSFS

I would fly nothing but that thing if it was available.

Carenado did the Citation XL for P3D but the avionics was "buggy". Now the Citation XLS+ and Sovereign+ (long range) both uses same avionics like the CJ4 (proline) and they can be retrofitted wit the G3000 all the avionics is now available in the sim with high fidelity level. So is it just a matter of putting things together perhaps...

I myself would love to put my hands on a gulfstream/falcon whatever version but we know the rest of the story by now...

Ultimately the FSW Falcon should make it over (but think that one is after the Lear).

Hoping that FlightFX try something with long range next tbh .. ..

I am hoping the Aerobask Falcon 8X will give the Hotstart 650 a run for its money. The only reason I installed X-Plane 12 is to experience the 8X. The 8X is now more than 3 years in development under license by Dassault. It will be fantastic. We can only hope for something like this to come to Flight Simulator!

I am a short hauler and have no need for a smalll tubeliner that another AvSmer describes as "watching paint dry".

Thing is I like my flights need to be time manageable meaning nothing longer than 3 hours.  After that what is the point?

Anyway my point for this post is to reccommend the MG HJET.  This plane is a joy for those medium flights and even allow to land in tight airports like Bella Colla.

I used to have an interest in the Phoenoms of aviation but now prefer the VLJ class that fit MSFS perfectly.

cheers

It’s my understanding that Xtreme Prototypes are working on their Lear 25 for MSFS. Not quite capable of trans-Atlantic hops but I’ve flown Manchester - Malaga in P3D v5.
