RHDSIMULATIONS 767-300ER for MSFS

Featured Replies

Anyone know anything about this?  Just saw it today.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

Interesting....  Never heard of the dev.  Seems to have arrived out of the blue.

More pics of cabin then anything else and lack of pictures of cockpit instrumentation is a red flag to me.

Looks like another "CTRL-E" type unfortunately.

CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11

Hard pass .... Like those seats (benches?) in the cabin.

The immediate concern is the price.  Not that I'm complaining about a EUR 30 price, but it does indicate a simplified aircraft.  I think the cockpit looks fine (fine, not state of the art) and if it had relatively convincing hand flying characteristics and there was a reasonably convincing VNAV on departure (eg. commanding V2+a bit for climbout, transitioning to 250kts, then a reasonable cruise speed), I might consider it.   On a YouTube vid, the dev states emphatically that it's not a Captain Sim level, eg simple reference to the 747 systems) and that the screens etc are custom-made.  He does also clearly admit that it's not study level.

Will be watching some vids.    For me, it might be passable, it it feels relative convincing in a straightforward A-B flight regime.

Well, for about $25 you get a nice outside model.
Cockpit-wise, low quality, about 70% of the switches don't work across the cockpit, FMC does not even have 40% of the functionality, the symbology of the ND resembles the Airbus, and flight dynamics are terrible, MCP is very buggy and some dials also are not working well or off, unfortunately, there are so many issues.
IMHO will not even qualify for the early beta version.
Very disappointing, to be honest, I don't feel bad spending this money for encouragement.
After about 1. hrs I had enough of trying to make any sense of this "revelation".

Thanks for the feedback.👍  This one will be a hard pass for me.  By all means, please post these findings in the Simmarket review section so others get a heads up and not get screwed on their purchase.

How many  🚩🚩🚩🚩 does anyone need?

  • No pre-launch advertising / PR
  • Product pricing of €13.79 in XP12 and €7.79 in XP11 for their A320
  • A trailer that spends ~90% of the video length outside of the cockpit
  • Only FMS functionality shown is altitude hold and heading select. No switches nor FMC use shown.

I know waiting for a high-quality product is difficult, but you don't get quality for cheap.

AMD Ryzen 5800X3D; MSI RTX 3080 Ti ; 32GB Corsair 3200 MHz; ASUS VG35VQ 35" (3440 x 1440)
Fulcrum One yoke; Thrustmaster TCA Captain Pack Airbus edition; MFG Crosswind rudder pedals; miniCockpit FCU; CPFlight MCP 737; Logitech FIP x3; TrackIR

MSFS; Fenix A320; A2A PA-24; HPG H145; PMDG 737-600; AIG; RealTraffic; PSXTraffic; FSiPanel; REX AccuSeason Adv; FSDT GSX Pro; FS2Crew RAAS Pro; FS-ATC Chatter

Well, if you get "screwed" on this purchase, it's on you, the buyer, because you really don't need to be Albert word not allowed Einstein to understand what "modified cockpit screens, to replicate the real aircraft" means.

OTOH, there is a large market outside the Avsim filter bubble of simmers who are fine with this and have no intention of spending a week's worth of groceries on a "study level" addon.

Just reading the description tells you all you really need to know.

`Simple IRS System`

with no other mention of any regarding sytems logic except for the fuel system. There is however a plethora regarding the modelling, animations, effects etc. Product speaks for itself really.

I checked out the trailer and in the comments, the dev links to an article where it says it uses default 747 as a backbone, but the dev claims to be "extensively modified", which Captain Sim hasn't done.

This addon is essentially Captain Sim 767 with Salty Mod already installed.

Ahhhh, that's a shame! Never mind.  Thanks to @LRBS for picking it up and "taking one for the team" 😎

I did suddenly realize last night that I recoginsed the name "RHD Simulations" ; as the dev that released that A320 for like 8 quid on simmarket 😄
