I'm waiting for FBs PHX.  

I inquired about PDX and Bill informed me directly it is on the table for an update. One of the things he mentioned was to make static aircraft toggleable, but I am not sure what else he has planned.

Sorry to resurrect this thread.

Its the first time I have flown into here since purchasing this scenery.

Got to say the frame rate tanks and drops 30 or so when the airfield comes into view but my biggest problem is that I have done 2 flights with this and both times on approach using both the PMDG and the 78X, it has slammed me into the airport.

It feels like its teleported me to the apron. It happened around 1000ft on approach. Have not seen this reported anywhere else so its a shot in the dark. Has anyone else had this. ?

P.S I have no other scenery conflicting with it.

FWIW, I uninstalled it because of the FPS. Awaiting the Flightbeam version now.

The area around Phoenix is heavy for the FPS on its own. It doesn't matter which airport is located here.

This airport was a complete waste of money. Runs terribly.

What a shame.

Is FB still planning on doing PHX? 

Instead of complaining, why not to dial down your TLOD to 120-140. You will be impressed in terms of FPS gain 🙂

Runs great on my system. Easily one of the best performing airports for me smooth as can be

Normally planned after KSFO.

That says a lot about the quality. I mean, I bet I can do it faster than both of them… it just won‘t be anywhere close to the real thing and perform miserably, because precision and performance improvements take a lot of time.

I don’t have this scenery but I find this is a must at any major airport surrounded by autogen…i usually use 100 for big city airliner flying.
