Not my style, If I don’t like your opinion, I’ll say so. As I did. If you have an issue with people disagreeing with your stance, I’d suggest not expressing it in public. This isn’t to say you don’t have the right to post whatever, wherever. but to expect that you aren’t to be questioned? of course doubling down on the bs doesn’t make me inclined to just go away, let alone the couple of personal digs.
July 2, 20232 yr Only hangar queen I have is the CRJ and the only reason for that is I realised I personally am bored silly with aircraft you need up to half an hour to program the FMS, after which you basically fly on autopilot the whole flight and go and make coffee. But that is just me, I know a lot of people love the modern tubeliners. I have the AH c140 and still fly it a lot, it does seem to emulate flight before we wore noise cancelling headsets and the engine can be a touch loud but that is a 2 second setting adjustment. So ... personally I am going to ignore people making claims about this being good or bad based on previous experience with the dev or with Asobo $10 planes or whatever and see what the consensus is in a week or two after a few more people have purchased it and a few more reviews have snuck out and then decide. Have a read of this; If you think this is 'bs' I invite you to report Bob's post above. I would imagine Ray is up enjoying his breakfast at the moment....
July 2, 20232 yr How do you manage the mixture in this plane? This is not described in the manual (... Mixture as required ...). There are three positions the lever can be set: Full rich, Auto Rich and Auto Lean. When and how is the lever to be set? Same as in the DC3? Or does the mixture change nothing relevant in the simulation? July 2, 20232 yr Any offering that does not respond to Bravo Throttle AP using MSFS control assignments out of the box is just plain broken. Beautiful plane and shabby AP configuration. Once again anything from the Marketplace should not require AAO‘s or Spad to fix it. Disappointing.

I use my Bravo with the autopilot in this plane and it seems to work for me, unless I'm missing something. What doesn't work for you?

Hmm....you know I'm lucky enough to live on the coast and in the warm light of a summer Sunday morning and after an enjoyable swim in the bracing waters of the English channel I have reread my contribution to this thread and have to admit you're quite right. Whilst I reserve my right to my opinion of the work of Aerplane Heaven, I'd like to offer my unreserved apologies to ShawnG and FrankR409 for being an word not allowed. Sorry guys. Uncalled for.

July 2, 20232 yr The plane’s heading apparatus does not respond the the Bravo’s rotary encoder for heading mode. Also, it does not respond reliably to VS input from the Bravo AP panel. I hope it’s something I overlooked but I don’t think so…
July 2, 20232 yr Anyone get NAV to work on the 'modern' AP, [top left of cockpit] I can set it, but aircraft does not follow the magenta line. HDG works ok. T45
July 2, 20232 yr This aircraft and others like this are great and more than welcome e.g. https://www.airliners.net/photo/Northwest-Airlines/Boeing-377-10-30-Stratocruiser/2015354, though like ASOBO says that are specialised in historic planes where there are not competence with other addon developers, they could too make historic jet airliners like the de Haviland Comet or the Convair. Quite true! If we waited for all aircraft to be developed to the highest standards, we would have considerably fewer aircraft to fly in this platform. It is all about having fun to experience aircraft that inspire us and to provide a sense of what it was like to fly during various time periods in history. This hobby captures the moment! July 3, 20232 yr Personally for the cost of around 3 coffees, it's a real steal. AH do have their faults, like quite a few developers, so they're not alone. But in saying that, their DC3 is awesome with the latest Duckworks mod. But out of the box, the Stratoliner is working really well with by Honeycomb gear. Really enjoying it and recommended.
