There's a job waiting for her over at PMDG.

Thank you - I needed to set my watch.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

I think she has the highest 'likes' to post ratio (100/3) in the entire history of Avsim.

LOL...was thinking the same thing.  Devs giving exciting news tend to get a slew of well-deserved likes.

I usually get most of mine when I release a new paint or an NDA is lifted and I'm allowed to post preview screens or discuss things that were kept under wraps. 🙂

How does the performance calculator work in this instance? Is it initially going to release with just a handful of planes supported and devs are responsible for adding more in?

That made me giggle more than I care to admit.

🤣

When she showed up in the thread, I just wanted to bury myself 🤣

I felt for you there somewhat... 😅

I was just sitting in the couch with a cup of coffee reading the forums (anticipating the usual comments about PMDG in regards to EFBs) and when I read your post I almost destroyed my computer with said coffee (stopping it from shooting out from my mouth kind of let it find its way up in my nose instead. I won't go into more details).

That said, I don't even know about that particular individual, it was just funny and to me kind of unexpected. 🤣

Haha! That was the intended effect lol. While what I said is true, imo, that obviously isn't all I think she is. I got to know about her through the Fenix discord before they released the A320 and the work she did on the EFB was nothing short of amazing. If I remember correctly, she said she did all of the coding in notepad!!! All while being an airline pilot herself. For those reasons, I'm excited to give this new product a try.

Old advice given to me a while back was "Every time you write something, imagine it on the front page news. That way you won't be embarrassed when it happens." 😂

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

I kind of figured that was your intended effect, and thus my almost destroyed MacBook Pro.. 😅

Oh my god though. Coding in notepad! I don't know if there's plugins for Notepad that provide syntax highlighting. Makes life a lot easier to say the least.

It's okay, it gave me a chuckle too 😁

This is awesome news. I loved the sexy modern EFB tablet in the Fenix A320. Would love to have a dedicated EFB. Will this app be downloadable on an iPad to use? I'm wondering if it will be also released natively on tablets or will we have to remote or mirror the app from say a computer?

ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU

This is a genius idea. Wow. Think about it, the options are limitless. It's the first simulated device in a flight simulator that can be monetized. Anyone familiar with the Fenix EFB knows this will surely be a quality product. Not just in function, but in design. I'm an art director at an ad agency and one of the things that really impressed me about the Fenix EFB was the UI design. It's flawless. This is pretty exciting stuff @KatiePilot, and such a good idea. Looking forward to seeing more!!

I have another EFB called Sky4sim that also has similar concept . However, only few developer support it so I'm pretty much  hardly use it. While new Pro EFB look promising I doubt many developers will support it . But hey if you think you are apple good luck with your App Store 🙂

I'm the opposite and find that Sky4Sim does practically everything I want it to do, will keep an eye on this one though but it needs to work in VR otherwise it's pointless for me!
