I currently feel MSFS has the edge though, but XP12 has some very good features - the latest clouds are very good and could be argued to be more realistic looking than MSFS. However, xEnviro clouds are really good! On the flip side, the terrain in MSFS has the edge imho. I feel the latest version of P3d is the weakest of the bunch. September 11, 20232 yr Let's just say for the sake of argument, that the sim will still dynamically react to supposed terrain, even though visually flat due to photoreal scenery, I would still prefer MSFS due to the dynamic environment than p3d, even if things like turbulence, etc is still considered overdone. In my opinion, it has better default planes and systems (at least the ones I care about flying). It's also still a better performer. I can't comment on Xplane since I only tried 11 once or twice briefly and didn't care for it. Edited September 11, 20232 yr by Kevin_28

I think most users on this forum couldn't care less about XP or P3D, otherwise they wouldn't be here. These posts that seem to pop up frequently, lately, just seem a way for posters to try and get an argument going, and usually wind up with the topic being locked.
