Will MS/Asobo agree in their next Q/A session to change the sky according to member Biology's suggestion?

I'm doubtful that Asobo will do anything with regards to sky colors because they just have so many other things on their plate.

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.

Hi,

Seeing how this is a simple fix, I think it's possible.

So this is what's going to happen. Jayne will ask the question.

Martialclueless face as usual with some mumbling in unexplained language

Jorg laughing/smiling 'heyy seb do you want to take this one?'

Seb - 'yeah so our art team is looking into this and hopefully we will find a solution'

And thats it gentlemen. Typical Asobo response as also seen in the past. Pretty sure nothing will come off of it. This might get included in MSFS 2024 though.

This is a very simple fix, I'm sure it would probably take them not even 5 minutes.

There are a few minor bugs and QoL issues that are super easy for ASOBO to fix that have either not been fixed or taken years to be addressed.

The white dot bug, the white box around LCD's, the end flight at engine shutdown prompt, the "lost connection" prompt that pauses your game, Airport Signs vanishing at high LOD, SimObject limit being arbitrarily set to 1000 objects, just to name a few bugs or QoL issues that seem like a 5 minute fix; Though I've never coded in my life so take that with a grain of salt.

obviously, otherwise you wouldn't say "issues that seem like a 5 minute fix"

Like Gustav Mahler's Symphony Nr. 5 cis-Minor. what took him 7 years to "fix it" when the whole symphony lasts only 70 minutes?

I guess I just see sky shaders in the same "ease of fix" as disabling a prompt or deleting the shader for the white dot so it doesn't appear, both of which took months to fix after being reported.

I stand by my opinion that Asobo won't get around to this, but I would love to be wrong!

More like Jorg will make funny face and pass on to Seb and he will tell you “we know about it but it messes with many systems… so priorities…” then Jorg will make some comment about this will be looked by the team but right now there’s more to do and thanking people for how passionate they are about this issue

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio!

Hahaha, this made my day and summed up MSFS short giving's to a tee. Careful now, the glass brimming to the top crew will be after you, don't you know this is the greatest simulator of all time and you shouldn't bash it? 😄

Recently you seem to be making a habit of picking a fight with nobody.

As for the sky, I've never felt terribly strong about it one way or the other. The mod looks nice, though.

An Asobo dev forked the github page with the calculations. Now that doesn't meant Asobo is looking into it, could easily just be the dev looking at it themselves, but you never know.
