It only has taken 4+ minutes total on a normal load for me. Maybe 600 GB in both community and official. I was jumping back and forth from beta to non beta for weeks with no issues. By simply once and for all "moving" the official and community folders away from default location, cured any issues when reverting. Not copying and pasting to move, but cut and paste to move. That way it takes less than 5% as much time, only maybe 5 minutes. Because the data does not change location on the drive. Only the path changes. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. What would be the point of APL then? or am I missing something? 🤨 Yep, you're missing something and here it is, at least one of something: some people use APL nearly exclusively for Score/Rating component. That's me. The rest is an indirect benefit of providing routes to regional airports I never knew existed all over the world. And of course, that piece is done w/ no need for XP or cash. (Just broke into the top 10 as a Senior 1st Officer with Aer Lingus). The other way is a defacto route planner, albeit an expensive one. I can say I've spent a lot of money in the past 3 months on 3rd party airports because of this! My sim is realistically rich right now. It is caused by the "duckworks-enhancement" mod, which I guess you have like me installed. There is a fix on their discord channel and on fs.to Update: the latest duckworks patch 0.4.2 solved the problem only partially. There are still missing textures in the cockpit. If I delete the duckworks enhancement mod, there are now even more missing textures. Maybe we just have to wait until this will be sorted out 😒 Edited September 30, 20232 yr by bernd1151 Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

I found if I disabled the Community folder then the liveries that came with the Asobo/AH DC-3 are ok. I suspect the 3rd parties will need updates, & or Duckworks, further tweaking. I did notice I am getting approx. +5 fps improvement overall😃 Cheers T45

Apparently, it causes texture issues for some time already, but has not been updated by its developer. Delete it and everything is fine again Edited September 30, 20232 yr by bernd1151 Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080
September 30, 20232 yr First proper flight tonight, I've noticed that the noise from other aircraft taxing is VERY loud inside the cockpit. I remember this was an old bug and is tied to the "other aircraft" slider in the sound settings. Traditionally I have this set relatively low 30, but in SU13 when other aircraft are taxing in and around its like I've got the windows open. Basically its the same audible level when compared to the external cam. Anyone else? Thomas Derbyshire

Cheers T45 PS - I did have another, [freeware, I think] DC-3 in my Community folder. May have been an FSX port over of the J Mahn??[sp]?, DC-3. Took it out & the liveries with it & now the Asobo/AH DC-3 interior is clean across its liveries & 3rd party liveries. T45 Edited September 30, 20232 yr by Treetops45
