1St Flight with SU13

Featured Replies

Just completed my first flight with SU13 flying the PMDG 737-800 with A pilots life in Brazil ( SBCF to SBSP) .   Flight went perfectly, couldn't be happier. Good job, Asobo.

Good.  After the first two beta updates, I found it very smooth for the last few weeks of the beta run.  Best performance and stability I have ever had.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Crossing the US Portland - Portsmouth in the BBJ right now with all my usual add-ons and it's smooth sailing so far. Should get a flight in the Fenix later as well .. as I'm staying up ready for a night shift tomorrow (always good for uninterrupted flying !!)

After the initial update hiccup with the content manager crashing the sim I completed a flight from Liverpool to Sicily in the Fenix, performance was pretty stellar, super smooth all the way from gate to gate.

One happy bunny here lol.

Haven't even checked the update log to see what's changed but first impressions are very good and the sim just looks gorgeous.

Happy Days 🙂

maybe it's just a placebo effect, but loading times do feel a bit shorter for me. Not by a lot, maybe 2-3 minutes.

I left the initial beta when my performance was affected. But today's final release is smooth as silk -- better-than-ever performance!

DX11 still works better for me, but I do notice performance improvement with DX12 after today's release.

How are you flying a flight in Brazil with the APL when I just saw you a day or so ago on a map flying a United flight in the States? Are you buying tickets to fly somewhere else?

This has already been reported. He fly on a simulator different from ours where you can be everywhere and nowhere at the same time where everything is softened butter and there are hostesses waiting for you each time you arrive with garlands of flowers. Just pretend to agree with him. He is my and Assobo’s greatest hope.

yes SU13 is ultra - stable with great performance so far. Well done Adobo team.

Anyone notice any difference with water waves and ship wakes?  Maybe it was the calm weather off the Keys but it looks like water wave simulation has decreased and the wake effect behind ships has been altered to where their barley visible.😕

I didn't notice anything different with the water in SU13.
