Thanks.  I think I have figured it out now - seems you can't pre select IAS on the ground as with other autopilots.  Also for IAS hold to work it appears you need to be at 130-140 knots or higher at least that is how it appears to me.

Bruce

Ah!  You might be correct.  I'll jump in the TBM today and test that.

From the TBM850 manual, "Fuel tank levels will be restored from the last flight whenever a flight is loaded with the default fuel levels"

This does not work for me, or what am I doing wrong? It always just loads at 50% fuel.

Quick message for those who have been asking about the forthcoming update for the TBM 850 - All being well and barring any last minute disasters the update should be released tomorrow. Likely to be early PM, UK time, but no guarantees on timing.

The update addresses many of the things that have been pointed out post-release as well as a whole host of other things too. The changelog is huge, ensure you put time aside for when this one lands, folks.

So current users, you'll receive the usual email from us at Just Flight advising of the release.  Should be a great update for you all.  Thanks for your patience and custom.

Thank you.

Excellent!  You can tell the developer listens and does implement these changes when warranted.

Hello, Folks! Did not read the whole thread  (maybe it was discussed) but just want to ask you :  When I am on the ground , I move the propeller lever and there is no effect... On air the lever affects the rpm, but on the ground no effect. Is it a bug or I am missing something?

I don't love this plane and I won't buy it because it's slower than the official TBM930 and you have to buy other software (the free version of the PMS50 is not enough), and it has a very primitive VNAV (but it has a good flight model). Usually I fly the TBM930, it has great avionics and VNAV (for free), the flight model is good enough, and it has the antice boots working.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Never flown the default TBM 930 - it looked mind numbingly boring I am afraid.

try it, it's one of the best default (and free) airplanes. Also, the TBM850 is using its sounds, sounds good?

Thanks for letting everyone know.

Incidentally, how do you know it has a good flight model if you've not bought and won't be buying it?

Incidentally, I want to know the "product" before to buy it, YouTube and friends help in this case. This was true for the Fenix and for my beloved DC-6 (but I'm an old PMDG customer).

The 930 is of course all glass - which is nice too.  WT did a really nice job upgrading the avionics with it.  But that's about it.  This TBM is a ground up version with beautiful analog panel.  You don't need to purchase any avionics as it uses the WT GNS 530 units as an option.  There are also many other features that set it well above the default 930.  Since you like the pmdg dc6, you probably like round gauges?  Why not read the manual for the Black Square TBM 850 and see if you're missing out?
