Loving this aircraft, and the system depth put into it.

AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung  NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive

Bought and flown this weekend. Very nice airplane, everything I would expect from Black Square. Surprised though to be getting fairly bad stuttering.

ASUS MAXIMUS IX CODE Z270, i7-7700K [email protected], EVGA GTX 1080 Ti, 16GB DDR4 RAM, VKBSim Gladiator joystick, CH Pro pedals, Razer Orbweaver Chroma Gaming Keypad, Tobii Eye Tracker, Samsung SSD 850 Pro 512GB (main drive/sim drive), WD Black 1TB HDD

Agree with the above.  Also, I cannot hand-fly the TBM 850 without it always wanting to drop the left wing and go into a dive.

Always have to fly with AP on. Sad when you want to practice circuits. Ajusting the rudder control on the yoke is finicky at best.

Whats with the up-down arrorws ?? I would expect rudder trim to be left-right arrows. unless I am doing something wrong.

Have you tried using these keys?

I thoght they were Airelon Trims ??

Anyone got the Appr ILS function to work.

It seems the AP always has issues with Blacksquare. Maybe I'm missing something.

I'm using the TDS 750 and switch it to VLOC etc.

Also... is it possible to disable the GNS 530?

Thnx

Disable gns, yes, flip the switch on the copilot side.

Can someone post the file edits to enable the beta indicator w/o installing the mod which has it also. Thanks.

Works fine on my end. I just dial correct frequency, ident it, get lineup on localizer below glideslope and let AP to intercept

From page 65/66 of the manual:

"An optional beta range annunciator has been added to the annunciator panel for those who do not have hardware or software detents for their throttle input. The annunciator is disabled by default, and can be enabled by changing the variable “BKSQ_ShowBetaAnnunciator” from 0 to 1 in the aircraft’s flight (.flt) files."

You will find a number of ".FLT" files in the same directory as the aircraft.cfg file for the TBM. Edit the last line in each file to read "BKSQ_ShowBetaAnnunciator=1" (without the quotation marks) and you should be good to go.

I can't find the above info in the BS TBM850 manual. Has there been an update to the manual?

Thx,

Al

Check the Manual directory under the root folder of your TBM850 installation. The manual should have been updated when you updated the TBM to v1.1.

If not, the updated manual is also available from the Just Flight TBM850 product page Here

I bought the TBM850 after the TBM update had been announced and released, and I assume the update was included in my original download. Windows Control Panel shows I have ver 0.1.1 installed -- is that the latest version? If so apparently the update to the manual was not in the updated download of the plane.

Strange.

ver 0.1.1 is the latest version, and that is also what I have. The manual that I have is the latest, which also includes the change log for v 1.1 on page 104.

Did you check the manual from the product page?

My mistake, sorry.  I was looking at the original version of the manual which I had downloaded before purchasing the TBM850.

Thanks for the help.
