Wow......  I just read the Reddit in question.  To be honest, I didn't think for one moment that it was a genuine member of the FBW team.  Although the images and evidence provided looked very compelling.

Knowing how risk-averse MS are, I would absolutely not be surprised if the new A320 is "pulled" from beta until this is sorted out.

Ah, flight sim drama. It had been a while!

Fixed that for them.

If the claims are substantiated, it's a genuine legal nightmare. At least a lot of meetings can be virtual by now.

if they go to remove it, and for whatever odd reason you want to keep the ini A320, it will also load if it's in your community folder so you can back it up and still use it.

As mentioned by someone who seems knowledgeable in GPL, the fact that the ini A320 is being released alongside MSFS using GPL code necessitates the entire program being open source under GPL, but I’m not sure how true that is. It would be a huge, huge issue that ini got MS into if it’s true.

Looks like an angry kiddo? That was very stupid from that OP 😐

From reading FBW's public statement, it does appear that the person in that Reddit thread was raising an actual potential issue (rather than just being angry for a fake reason).   It's also clear from FBW's statement that they were a genuine team member of FBW.    However, as they disclosed, they were told not to raise this publically, but couldn't resist getting their 5 minutes of fame on Reddit.

I always believed (if I thought much about it at all) that any code being worked on by Flybywire on Asobos behalf was open source to the point that it was automatically available for use by pretty much anyone.....?

Maybe somebody at Ini thought the same?

Misunderstanding?

They say they may have identified the issue that causes stuttering before landing and probably it will be fixed in the next release.

Further on this from their discord this morning:

we found an issue and fixed it, stutters should hopefully be gone with the next version 🙂

Doesn't sound that young to make such a coherent list of complaints and work as a developer.

The bigger issue is that despite being told not disclose this information, the OP wanted to feel virtuous by revealing the actions of bad, nasty iniBuilds.

Unfortunately, we live in a period where a lot of people believe how they feel about a situation and public opinion matter more than resolving issues in an appropriate forum. Claiming redress through suitable  channels and/or legal process was going to be so much simpler before OP spouted off. 🤦‍♂️

People already saying they won't support Inibuilds because of this. People jump to the wrong conclusions before facts have been established. No one really knows the person works for FBW and just wanted to tarnish Inibuilds A320neo because its better. Day 1 quite a few people were saying how some of the FBW team were unhappy. The screenshots don't show anything to support his evidence when looking at them. Deleted his reddit account but did not delete the post. They were just looking for trouble from what I can see and well it can easily back fire for them and FBW with a law suit.

Yes we do know. Considering that FBW already admitted that this is indeed internal information.

Ahh I misread the tweet. Still they don't have a leg to stand on.

Well since this word not allowed went public it really messed things up for FBW if they wanted to legal. Like a lot are saying. FBW is not a company so different rules come into play.
