Let's see if the pundits show up and tell us why FSS won't be able to accomplish all, some or even a little bit of what they've explained in their update.

It will be very nice when we get custom LNAV/VNAV of course but in the meantime it is an enjoyable aircraft to fly and is in my airliner rotation.

Yup there are some absolute insufferable folks here when it comes to this particular plane over the whole LNAV/VNAV issue.

So I take it you are both customers and are fully satisfied with your purchase? And the 1.0 release date being push backed a year is cool? Just trying to understand the psychology of people who hand over money to a dev for a project that's maybe 20% complete and then get mad at anyone who criticizes the flagrant exploitation of the early access model that's dragging down this hobby.

Well lets just understand one thing first, you are asking for a personal opinion based on personal experience, so we can throw all the "Dr. Phil psychology" stuff out of the window. It's simply a product and aircraft model that's gonna tug at the hearts and minds of several different simmers with various tastes, standards and experiences as it sits TODAY. For me I absolutely love the plane so far,

Sounds were just improved and the plane flies really well, it looks far better than anything we've seen released E Jet wise within the FSX/MSFS ecosystem of addons. When they do figure the LNAV/VNAV it's gonna be super solid. Most importantly, the devs have been super consistent with improvement patches lately, along with even producing other great addons alongside the development of this one (Tecnam P2006T),  While this E Jet may have teething issues I have trust and confidence in the devs pulling through and delivering a solid LNAV/VNAV implementation. As some of us have already acquired several hours of enjoyment in the state the plane sits now. As far as dragging down the hobby, lets put things into perspective here atleast FSS had the actual spine and courage to jump into MSFS addons and give it their best. Unlike some other devs of the past (P3D/FSX/XP) who will never fathom making anything for this platform. Honestly we can apply " dragging down the hobby" to alot of things devs are doing while other aren't even attempting to do.

To be honest, VNAV doesn't work flawlessly even on the plane in real life. 🙂

OMG whoever the Embraer avionics manufacturers are need to be cancelled!

They are dragging down the entire aviation industry with such faulty VNAV systems!😂🤣

I always find posts/complaints from those folks about LNAV/VNAV interesting😂. When I started flying the C-141B, we had no LNAV/VNAV. We just had the ol INS button😝. Those darned INSs(two) would drift into different directions causing you to look at the string of airliners ahead of you to tell which INS was most accurate when crossing the Atlantic🤣. Though there was no LNAV/VNAV, it could keep super tight formation/position, co altitude, in the weather/VMC during a 17 ship formation🤪. When I moved to the DC10, we finally had that fancy GPS system, but could not couple to it. The FMS could use the GPSs to keep the three INSs tight, so we could fly GPS procedures in LNAV. We had the pregnant plus VPATH indicator, but used vert speed to track it on approach with LNAV only mins. Couldn't do LNAV/VNAV work, but passed up the majority of airliners and read 1000feet on the RADAR altimeter when flying over them in RVSM airspace🤣. I then moved to the G3, which had the same capability as the DC10, but could couple to the GPS for LNAV. I could fly those non precision approaches in LNAV and overlay legal, but had no autothrottles and still could not couple to the VPATH indicator. Then I went to the GV thinking I finally made it. I could couple to LNAV/VNAV and could fly everything in the box(FMS) except ILSs and Localizers. But, as long as I previewed the ILS/LOC, the system would automatically switch from LNAV to radio navigation(green). But.....I still could not fly that fancy RNP stuff, but still passed up all airliners and did it efficiently. Then I made it to the Gulfstream 550. I could do it all and even select the approach button to take advantage of RNP/LPV minimums. In the GV/G550, I could even go 100 feet below minimums using EVS. When no one can see the runway out side, I have it clear along with that jet holding short through the HUD. Heck, I can even have it pulled up on a NAV display so that others can see it. Even the passengers in the back can see it from their flat screens in the back, but we ain't having that🤣.

What an evolution. Not once did I ever look at those previous jets with disdain just because I couldn't couple to VNAV🤔

Wow! You're #1 I believe. Thanks for showing up to give me your learned expertise.

Not happy but understandable. Certainly not the first flightsim addon that pushed back their launch date. When development nears the 7 years of the Aerosoft/Hans Hartman CRJ then I'll

Even streamers are enjoying it more bar one its come a long way and if people can't see that oh well. Welcome to software development where things do not go to plan....

Don't know if this post was met to be funny or not but most credible streamers are not enjoying this project and do not stream this at all and most say stay away from it at all cost (all around $40). Ok maybe a few desperate clickbait streamers fly it for memes. Anyone support this type of deal shame on you.

Nor on any aircraft BUT, it's there! They should have thought about all those issue before starting the project and charging for it!
