Nor on any aircraft BUT, it's there! They should have thought about all those issue before starting the project and charging for it!

Don't know if this post was met to be funny or not but most credible streamers are not enjoying this project and do not stream this at all and most say stay away from it at all cost (all around $40). Ok maybe a few desperate clickbait streamers fly it for memes. Anyone support this type of deal shame on you.

A lot of starting to fly it 757SPY even LondonController was enjoying it the other day and was happy compared to when he first tried it people who actually watch them. Lets be real all streamers are clickbait one way or another. Even real world pilots who fly it are enjoying it more than they did. Can't remember the streamer name but he does videos on Youtube and is a training captain on the fleet.

Rather support a new developer even though they have had trouble and keep with updates regularly. Everyone has different opinions. I would rather watch someone typed on it though and is giving it praise than someone who is not. Shame on people who rather watch someone with an axe to grind and is not type rated on it.

Really?

Now all of a sudden there are " credible streamers" according to AVSIM?

Is this the dev that did an early access because they needed some funding? IMO, as long as the people paying for early access and people that are buying it are clear with what the terms are and the quality of what they are getting, I think it's okay.  This is assuming the dev won't take the money and run, and the dev is not falsely advertising, and the dev allows public reviews of their product, even in early access, so the public knows what they are buying.

Unfortunately, a lot of software (including games), are released prematurely because the company just can't afford to pay for all the costs before everything is complete.  These e-jets may have not been improved upon if the developer couldn't afford to pay its staff past the early alpha phase.  If there are some people that really want to fly these e-jets, and they are aware of the quality they are getting upon the purchase of it, and they are also comfortable with gambling on the reputation of the dev and whether the dev can fulfill their promise, I don't see a problem.

The alternative is no e-jets made for MSFS at all, because nobody can fund a 3 to 5 year project, to get it to the fidelity that some people expect.

It will be very nice when we get custom LNAV/VNAV of course but in the meantime it is an enjoyable aircraft to fly and is in my airliner rotation.

Me too. They keep improving it and fulfilling that void of small regional/commuter jets.

Love flying Alaska from Reno to Portland etc

Despite opinions about them I like flying them. Call me a fan!

Fail right there they are click baiters on twitch not to be taken seriously although 737spy did have a PPL back in the day.

I'll think I'll use those when I get banned again over at the PMDG forums 😉

On topic: I've said enough in the past about how much I despise this product and the devs etc., so I won't repeat that. Actually I've ended up buying it two weeks ago because I love the (real) E-Jets and had the deep desire to step into a (virtual) cockpit again. Long story short: It's better than I thought, at least in regards to the presentation, immersion etc., so you can really feel some "love" put into it. It doesn't feel neglected like the CRJ and ATR and it's actually in a pretty good shape (well except for CTDs when you push the chrono button...), if you accept that it's has no decent LNAV/FMS. Anyway it is some fun to fly, but I'm also biased towards the (real) E-Jets, so YMMV.

That said, I still feel people should ask themselves twice if they really want to accept "early access" shifting its meaning to: Wait two years (!) until it even has custom LNAV / custom FMS. If you accept that, you are guaranteed to get even earlier access...

I bought in early. But I regret it. Little progress seems to have been made and I do not believe they are competent to make any.

Not to derail...

but we should start a support group "Avsimmers banned from the PMDG forums".😎

Should not take what 737NG Driver says then because he knows nothing about the aircraft.  Granted a real pilot but not on this type been called out plenty of times for saying "I don't think it should do this, this is wrong it should not fly like this". I guess the pilots who fly it for a living are also wrong then.......

The alternative is getting it to a state where it's at least comparable to freeware efforts or to let someone else do it.

Here's a user's thoughts:

As before, strobes not working, aircraft not capable of RNAV/GPS approaches, no VNAV, I’m still afraid of touching anything around MFD so I would not freeze it again. Still a long way before we can say the aircraft is finished.

Who knows, MS may even contract someone in to create an E-Jet for MSFS2024?

It's possible that no other company would make it. It's better if somebody makes it, rather than nobody making it.

It's also possible that another company comes in and make an even better version of the E-Jet in the future.  We will have 3 decent A320s in MSFS (the IniBuilds A320 will come once they sort out the issues) so maybe the same can happen with the E-Jet. But maybe the next company that comes in to make a better version, does it 4 years later. For those that want to fly the E-Jet now, maybe they don't want to wait 4 years. Also, it's an early access version so there will be missing features. FSS updated their timeline and said version 1.0 may come at the end of 2024:

And some people in this thread are enjoying it. Given that some people in this thread are enjoying it, I don't see that much of a downside to what FSS is doing.

That’s it in a nutshell.  I’m enjoying this E175 more than having no E175 (or using virtualcol).
