No, you got that wrong. You don‘t need to use the correct reg on the livery with StarAlliance. All you need is the airline‘s livery.

Ah that's ok then. I'll still use the correct reg when I can anyway. I'm a week in and just getting the hang of moving around the menus.

BTW, I know it's been mentioned but their tours are really well done also.

Looks like the pause fail is getting an update.  Latest beta changelog shows this:

  • changed timer for sim pause (fail only if pause > 5mins)

There is also a beta update to start continued schedule at a particular airport so those who want connected logbooks don't have to repeatedly click regenerate to get the airport they just landed at to start a new schedule.

I think with this being added there is clearly a way to make certain airports be preferred or avoided. I personally feel senior captains L1 and above should be able to pick their own schedule via the flight tickets and should get paid for them as long as it's your own airline. I'm not sure what is so hard to grasp about this. It would give people something to work toward and rectify those that say Senior Captains get no rewards

I'll defo come back to APL at a later point, maybe when the 777 and A380 are available I will use it for long hauls at major hubs. For now I'm happy with a more casual flight system with my VA.

You can fly any aircraft, no matter what APL scheduled. E.g. you buy the A320 license and you're at Lufthansa and have an A320 route scheduled, you can fly with the Maddog on that route just fine. APL will not care about the actual aircraft used in the sim.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Not to hijack this thread, but has anyone tried their PA add-on? I have PacX and SLC but neither work particularly well in VR, and have more of a passenger management component then I care to have.

Just FYI APL pennalaize you for not retracted spoilers after landing (even thou they are retracted) . A bug that I filed long time ago and it still there.

I got the add on when it first came out. I use it all the time.

Some aircraft don't send the proper code for things like spoilers, so the app can't read them. It works all the time in the Fenix and PMDG 737.

And? Why not make an exception for those that “app can’t read “. We don’t have that many airliners in MSFS!

I have no idea, but since I am not affected, I haven't really thought about it.
