Maybe sometime in 2025. I sure hope another developer does not just decide to do the Q400 before Majestic is ready.

MSFS 2024. Primary Planes: Black Square TBM850, Duke, Baron, Caravan; A2A Comanche; FSReborn Phenom; Fexix A321; PMDG 737-7, 777: Utilities: Active Sky (Passive Mode); BATC, FSLTL.

Another lovely update. At least we get the 200 and 300 at some point. Shame they lost the developer. Maybe people will understand why they may not give frequent updates and they have other priorities.

they may.  but I would think it would be VERY VERY tough to match the fidelity of the majestic q400.  One of the few planes we've had over the years where one can truly fly it by the numbers.  I always appreciated the challenge and complexity of this plane

5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW  and 2  22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU,  360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

Unless another developer has been secretly working on a Q400 the last 2-3 years I don’t think Majestic has any competition to worry about, even if it’s still a year or two away.  FlyJsim on the XP platform has a very good rendition, but I don’t think they are interested in MSFS, plus they have a few other planes to focus on over there.

It's good that they are working on it, but I am not holding my breath

Why not just keep enjoying the Q400 in P3D until day X? Whenever I fly a complex aircraft like this one, the simulator is of almost no importance to me. Majestic‘s Q400 is a great aircraft in P3D and frankly speaking I don’t expect it to be significantly better in MSFS (if at all).

Who flies P3D today?

Everybody who appreciates the many excellent P3D aircraft and doesn’t blindly follow the marketing trends newer, better (really?), more ..,

Personally I don't think devs should just get to reserve a plane and then not release anything for years afterwards. More competition in this space would do wonders for the userbase. I don't have any desire for this plane in particular but it can be frustrating if other devs are scared off from trying to work and release something because someone else might do it down the road at a part-time pace.

I.e. if this idea was followed on every aircraft model, the Fenix A320 wouldn't even exist because FSLabs said they're "working" on it. I think most would agree the introduction of Fenix into this space has been a huge benefit to customers. Unfortunately, the A320 family seems to be the only place anybody has been willing to fight for market share at this point.

Yes, really.

I had some of the best P3D aircraft there were, but nothing today could make me go back to flying that sim. It just looks horrible.
