IniBuild and their horrible performance

No issues here either with Inibuilds aircraft or Airports, nothing special about my system either. Very strange.

While I think iniBuilds' optimisation could be better, I note that a lot of people use a complex airliner, into a detailed iniBuilds scenery, have all the AI traffic and road traffic on, WeLoveVFR and other mods, use a 4K monitor and DX12 on a GPU with 12 GB VRAM or less and a non-X3D CPU, and add their own tweaks, then ask why they cannot hold 60 FPS... 🤷‍♂️

The A300 wasn't like that. There was 6 months between announcement and release. At least I wouldn't consider 6 months to be rushed.

You've picked one example in their favour, fair enough. How was the A300 on release?

Microsoft must have been happy with the performance of the A320Neo since they commissioned it, I imagine it had performance budgets. Ini said they didn't include the default Asobo terrain radar because it caused performance issues.

Though I imagine performance testing is done with zero third-party addons, just all default stuff.

The A320 NEO V.2 is IMO the best AC yet from Inibuilds in things of fluid and performance..

cheers 😉

What I really want to see from IniBuilds is a fix for the misalignment of runway centreline markings at LGHI Chios Omiros and EGHI Southampton.

i used to complain about inibuilds stuff but maybe it's cuz I have a 4090 laptop now, the new a320v2 gets well over 50fps butter everywhere...

Doing KJFK to MMUN in the A300 right now and it has been a smooth flight, 60 FPS capped (after leaving JFK). But even when sitting at JFK I was getting ~50FPS

If you're not running any other addons, sure. 😉

From the map, I chose A320neo v2 and then regular a320neo. Quick flights out of KJFK.

20% fps less in the v2 version. This is a quick check anyone can do just watch the fps readout and then swap for the V2 for the V1.

Curious for those that say they have performance issues what is your VRAM usage?

Never had an issue running 2k Ultra settings @ 60fps. It's just one of those things hey.

what do u expect anything from inibuilds will be a STUTTERFEST!!

10700kf, 3080 nividia, 32gbs 3400mhz, 1,000 watts power, M.2 DVMe !tb, boot, 1tb 7200rpm, storage, windows 10 home

...and yet many of us have no problems with the performance of their airports. I have just completed a quick circuit at IniBuilds EGLL London Heathrow, and my old i5 7600K system handled it with ease (AI traffic disabled, but static aircraft @ 100%).

I think the point being made is that they release less than optimized products and only after updates do they start to perform good enough on mid range systems.

Case in point being EGLL and also KLAX. Both perform reasonably well now after being slide shows upon release.

Although I fail to understand how the OP is still seeing such bad performance at this point, given the hardware he runs the sim on also.

Yeah it’s concerning, I’m hoping ini can get better at optimization.
