May 30, 20242 yr I have 7k custom made desktop with RTX 4090 + I9 14900K, 48GB RAM, Windows 11. Every driver is to update. Inbuild sceneries and their A300/310 has been the worst performance out of all the developers. When I ran PMDG, Fenix, Leonardo, FSS Embraer, all perform wonderfully. Inibuild has been horrendous in terms of performance. I hope their upcoming A350 won't be like that. Does anyone else have fps issues with their sceneries and the A300?
May 30, 20242 yr Short answer: Yes. The A300 is the worst performing aircraft for me, although not as bad (relatively) as their sceneries (KFJK, EGLL etc.). To be fair many of their sceneries are in the worst parts of the MSFS world (performance-wise), so there is only so much they can do. I guess they do okay under these circumstances. I mean KEWR from Drzewecki Design is even worse in the same area. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
May 30, 20242 yr Fiorentoni is exactly right -- I just did some testing last night with those exact airports (Drze KEWR as well as inibuilds KJFK) and I used the ini A300. I figure if I can set my sim up to run THAT combination well, I can run well anywhere. So, the AutoFPS app is really really nice to use, it's designed for areas like KJFK/KEWR. With it, I can get smoothness. Even with my 7800X3D + 4090 those areas are still very hard-hitting. It would be passable without AutoFPS but much better with it. May 30, 20242 yr The Ini A310 runs great on my old system. 6700k / RTX 2800 I'm thrilled to fly it again after it was fixed with the SU15 update. It and the Leonardo MD-80 are the best flying / performing jets on my system. Sadly it's the the Fenix A-320 I can't run anymore after the Block 2 release, too choppy.
May 30, 20242 yr Zero issues with the a300 or any of the ini scenery. I’ve got a 12700k 4090 with Frame Gen Ron Hamilton "95% is half the truth, but most of it is lies, but if you read half of what is written, you'll be okay." __ Honey Boo Boo's Mom

May 30, 20242 yr A300 has been performing OK for me. Not great, but OK. The 320 neo on the other hand... 🤮 Tired of Streetlights everywhere? Try MSFS DarkStreets today!
May 30, 20242 yr iniBuilds is known for releasing non optimized aircraft and scenery. Seems they never learn. KDTW was released how long ago? And on DX12 it’s absolutely garbage performance wise and I have a 4090 and a 7800x3d. They have zero quality control. Eric

May 31, 20242 yr all aircrafts from ini build performance wise are terrible they are the worst of of study level, their sceneries was terrible at release but after last year they did a lot of performance updates and now they are well optimize, unfortunately i don't see any plan from them to improve the performance of their aircrafts and is sad cause they going to release the a350 and that aircraft gonna hit hard on performance with so many modern systems Edited May 31, 20242 yr by michdb8
May 31, 20242 yr I haven't tested the 300/310 (I forget, whichever was the free one) in a while, but I did test their new 320 out the other day and yeah it's bad as well. I'm on a 5950X with 4090 and with native 4000 series frame gen on, settings averaging high with a few medium and a few ultras, and FPS capped at 90 in the Nvidia control panel. I loaded up ORBX KSMF which is a fairly easy airport to run. In the FBW, Fenix, and PMDG 737 all are locked at 90fps cold & dark and also when powered up. The Ini A320 puts that setup in the mid-upper 60's before I even turn the batteries on both external and internal cockpit views. That means without frame gen I went from probably around 55-60 (what I would get in those other aircraft) to around the low 30's. I try to stay above 46 at all times to keep my LG Gsync compatible monitor in Gsync range. edit: also I tried with and without the free PC enhancement with the cabin and texture improvements and there was zero difference. It's badly CPU optimized for sure. Similar to the other free one. Maybe it has to do with it not actually running a wasm compile on first load like other 3rd party aircraft you install from external sources. This was a theory about the other free one at the time as well with its performance issues. At least with that it was a different enough aircraft that I put up with it to try it. With the FBW and Fenix available to us on PC there's just no reason to use it. May 31, 20242 yr They mentioned in their discord that they’re investigating FPS issues post SU15 re aircraft. I have found airports like KJFK, EGLL & KDTW quite heavy. Usually a case of adjusting settings slightly, and not expecting to get buttery smooth experience with every setting in MSFs maxed out. Edited May 31, 20242 yr by flightskyc
May 31, 20242 yr I must be the only one who doesn't have a single issue with their airports? But then again, i fine tune my simulator, i don't just set everything to ULTRA. I carefully check every single setting to see what i really need visually and what really makes an impact visually. I even downgraded my 4070 to a 4060, made a tiny SFF PC and make good use of FG and DLSS and get 80-90fps in EGLL with the A310 or A306. Zero stuttering, perfect landings without any issues, etc. CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11
