Multi Monitor update ( extra external view )
 

It looks like I have something working when using 2 external view monitors with LSFF :

RTX 4090

NVCP :  2x monitors 60 hertz / VSync on / No limit

MSFS : FG off / VSync Off

LSFG : X3 (!)

I first launch all apps that I need. If everything works I start LSFG,

Then I go into MSFS fullscreen mode. Then with the Windows key I select LSFG on the taskbar and launch it,  I click on the main Fs  screen, then on the extra external view and click on the main screen again.

Now I see 60/60 on the main screen. When using X2 I see 45/45.

Before I have tried all kinds of combo combinations but then the extra external view only had 15 fps. AI ac and AI car traffic would stutter, while now they move fluidly.

So this is a keeper for me. No artifacts.

That's also my method. And, like you, no artefacts: despite those who prefer the opinion that if you can't see any artefacts you must be blind or an i d i o t or both 😵‍💫

It probably depends on the gpu you have. And also the settings you are using.

Exactly. I think it needs quite a lot of headroom in the "base" fps to do its job properly. 

To show how smooth 60 fps on both monitors is at FlyTampa Amsterdam Schiphol + PSXT Live Traffic :

Sorry but if you see 60/60 or whatever number in the top left corner, I believe that the app is not working. That's most probably why you don't see artifacts.

If the app is working as intended, you should see 60/120 or 30/60, 45/90, etc...

Assuming the monitor can support more than 60 hz refresh and it's configured to do so.

When using 2 external views you see 60/60 instead of 30/60. The internal FPS counter shows 30.

And it only works correctly with X3 otherwise it is 45/45.

The way it works (for me) is that the output gets capped at the max frame rate of my monitor which is 144 fps. Typical scenarios for me with the app on 3x would be :

- 35/105

- 40/120

- 50/144

- 60/144

- 144/144

I have tried to keep up with this thread so apologies if I have missed the answer, has anyone found a soloution with having multiple displays using MSFS on one Monitor but when wanting to use other monitors to access apps etc but you loose your mouse cursor on those displays, its kind of frustrating I have enabled multiple displays in LS app but this has not made any diference.

I found that if I just move the mouse (pointer) well off the edge of the sim screen onto what must be the other screen space and then just click anywhere, the original mouse pointer just reappears as normal on my second screen and works as normal.

The AI traffic stuttering is PSXT, that is why I will never use this AI traffic solution, no matter the benefits on other parts (parking as example).

If they are taxiing it is smooth. Only at higher speeds you may notice it. Very satisfied with it.

Using LSGG / FG makes it already better I prefer Live traffic over Flightplan based traffic. Where they are in real life I see them too. Not where MSFS have them move.

Yeah, just tried this App with the settings given in here (3080 ti, 5900X, 4K) and basically get now 15 FPS instead of 50 without the App.
