Usually steam apps are located for example: C:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common under the common folder you will see a folder called Lossless Scaling, copy that folder over to like the C root drive then click that exe, it should open without initializing Steam Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)

My question: Anyone running LS on a 165 Hz monitor with 165/55 in NCP and times 3 in LS? Is so, any problems/comments? I'm running an LG 49" curved gaming monitor, 240 refresh rate. Settings in NCP = 240 max FPS in Global tab and 80 max FPS in MSFS program tab. Have LS set to 3x, no scaling. No problems getting 3x FPS in even the most demanding scenarios. Literally feels like having a new more powerful computer. Been flight simming since the late 80's and part of the hobby has always been trying to "catch the dragon" as they say. Feels like LS may have finally done it. Of course, MSFS 2024 comes out later this year and will probably start the process all over again. 🙂
June 16, 20241 yr After some tuning, then even more tuning, I landed (pun intended) on settings that worked really well for GA. Cranked up TLOD, loaded up Map Enhancement with latest Bing maps, then went on a sightseeing tour around Northern Italy. As long as FPS is the same as monitor refresh rate, there's no tearing. Not sure if I "need" 120 fps, but it sure is smooth! Edited June 16, 20241 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
June 16, 20241 yr When the sim is running at Ultra settings with high TLOD and OLOD, it can be absolutely stunning. Btw, if you ever get the chance to climb the Duomo, do it!

I'm not using scaling either and good to hear that you are having no problem using 3X in LS with a 240 refresh rate monitor. Based on that, I can't see a problem using 3X with 165 refresh rate monitor. Might make my 4080 Super work a bit harder but doubt that will be an issue. I use a large 55-inch 4K screen with an RTX 4090 and I thought I would never be able to increase the smoothness to this extent while doubling the fps. However... I am so grateful to our friend IslandSimPilot that I would kiss him passionately if he were a beautiful woman... 😊 For less than $10, I just got the best deal of my entire flight sim life. 1/ Works in HDR on a 165Hz screen. 2/ No need to have the Steam version, it works perfectly with the Store. 3/ No notable artifacts. 4/ Works in "full" screen. 5/ And yes, it doubled my fps!! Try this program, if it does not suit you you can request a refund. And if it suits you, buy IslandSimPilot a virtual beer. 👍 This is the best mod I have purchased in my sim life since 1982. Smooth as silk. I hope this app will work in the near future for VR. Absolutely an amazing addon. Cheers Jaime, Monterrey MEXICO.

June 17, 20241 yr @Cpt_Piett on your newest video you show that you do not use the DXGI Capture API, but the WGC one. Any particular reason for this? Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
