I’m on 555.85. IslandSimPilot warned against updating to the latest, so I guess I’m waiting for the next one. Started a flight from Hamburg to Düsseldorf which is not as scenery-heavy as KJFK-KDCA. I locked FPS to 59, used x2 which gave me 118, had monitor refresh rate to 120Hz. Sim was much more responsive and snappier, probably because the mainthread was not about to die.. Everything was fine and dandy until I started experimenting at FL240, turned lossless on and off, and suddenly display went black. Had to reset the PC… I just tried locking to 59, gives me 118 indeed at 120hz, very smooth. Do have enable passive waiting ticked in RTSS? I'm wondering what your NVI settings are? Do you use a dlss preset? I hope I can reduce the artifacts / ghosting, because the ghosting in the PFD / MCP dials is quite severe. Is there something mentioned in the event viewer when the black display happend? AMD 7800X3D, 64GB 6000MHz CL30, INNO3D RTX 4080, Windows 11.

June 14, 20241 yr Might indeed be a driver issue then, because I do have the non-recommended driver installed. Well, lets wait, maybe the next driver will be fine again. BTW: in the course of experimenting with RTSS and LSFG, I lost again all my NVCP settings. Still wondering why this happens to me from time to time. June 14, 20241 yr Commercial Member Trying to keep up with this thread. I guess the consensus is: running my 4080S on a 1440p panel (165 Hz), with native FG giving me about 70-80 FPS on the ground and 100-110+ in the air, I shouldn't really muck with this? Or are folks seeing that much of a benefit when run on top of native FG....sure it would be cool to get 165 FPS matched to my panel, but is this even in the realm of possibility? June 14, 20241 yr I just upgraded to the latest driver on a 3080 65 tv at 120hrz. No issue. Chris Chiozza

DLSS+DLAA (no downscaling, better antialiasing than TAA in my opinion), DLSS 3.7.1 with preset F (less ghosting) in Nvidia profile inspector, rBAR enabled. Do you have preset F set in the Microsoft Flight Simulator profile in NVI or in the global one? Have you set the option below that one to something? Like 0.85x? Haha yeah, I understand you are afraid to Alt-Tab. Hopefully it wasn't caused by the lossless scaling program. AMD 7800X3D, 64GB 6000MHz CL30, INNO3D RTX 4080, Windows 11.

I find this LSFG frame generation as good as the native FG. So, a no brainer to use it for someone without a series 4000. But like I said, I have a 4070. I don't see much benefit stacking the two FG systems. It will NOT double the framerate again. I get more like 10% improvement. If native FG is giving me 40 fps then stacking might give me 45, or something like that. Plus it's not built in, its a separate app running. Both FG systems produce some sort of artifacts, different for each one. I'm not sure I will use LSFG much. But heck it only cost me $7. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. I had the frame limiter set wrong in one of the 3 screens in Nvidia Control Panel (Global, flightsimulator, and lossless). Correcting that and this LSFG does indeed stack double fps on top of native 4000 fps! And, for me without a 4090 (only a 4070) when I turn on real traffic and multiplayer and use a plane like the A320 V2 in heavy scenery areas, it works a treat! Basically, I can turn on settings and things I could not do in certain planes by stacking both native and lossless FG. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. June 14, 20241 yr After two nights of tiggling with the settings I found the ultimate settings for my machine and smoothness. I use EHAM takeoff for my test scenario with AIG traffic & AutoFPS. FG + Lossless scaling FG2.1 & LS1 scaling. LS1 combined with DLSS quality looks very sharp and clear. If I had an 4090 I could had use DLAA. 120Hz TV + 120 fps with LSFG . Capframetime 100% Smooth and <2 ms. Edited June 14, 20241 yr by Eef AMD 7800X3D, 64GB 6000MHz CL30, INNO3D RTX 4080, Windows 11.
June 14, 20241 yr A few questions about LLS, as I dont see any diference with the app enabled or not: (Normally, landing at KJFK with FSTraffic enabled I get aprox. 30/32 fps) Once opened the app, is the program already working, or I have to hit Scaling first and wait to the counter marks 0 ? I read I must limit FS to 30, should that be done from the NVpanel or at the MSFS options after setting VSinc On ? (I tried both, but the fps counter sometimes exceed 30 fps) My rig: I5 13600 RTX4070 32 RAM.- 60 Hz Monitor Graphic settings: DLSS Quality - FG on - Everything Ultra
