June 27, 20241 yr Yeah, that's a bit too rich for a developer I feel hasn't earned the respect yet in the MSFS community, isn't a truly known quantity in this space, to price themselves well above all the competitor average prices. I did select upgrade option in the installer so perhaps that is the problem? I will try it again this time doing a completely fresh install but won't have time to mess with it until tonight! change livery , have the same on lufthansa livery but the TFDi livery worked , i downlodwed the new version and test it , its ok must test more http://

I fully agree its high .. which is why im not buying unless they meet or exceed the 777 in pretty much everything. So im not completely writing it off as yet. But If its subpar.. oh well sorry ill pass. June 27, 20241 yr I really would like an MD-11 for cargo ops so I'll probably get it either way. But I'm in agreement that the price is a bit high for such an unknown.
June 27, 20241 yr I watch one YT content creator who continuously flies her after each update - he is disappointed each flight. I wish to buy MD11 but not with bugs for given money. Edited June 27, 20241 yr by Beardyman Artur
June 27, 20241 yr I owned the 717 and the MD-11 CE. It's nice to have options when it comes to aircraft. The MD-11 is a niche aircraft that will appeal to those who appreciate it. It's not for everyone so sales will not come close to the 777. I wish the TFDI team the best of luck on the release. Sometimes they take a lot of heat from the community but they continue to hang in there with a positive attitude and they always make things right. I see that British Avgeek is doing a launch preview tomorrow of the 1.0 release version on YouTube. June 27, 20241 yr Just went to the source https://tfdidesign.com/md11.php Base Pack (Cargo or Passenger): $69.99 USD Expansion (The One You Did Not Purchase Already): $9.99 Extended Simulation Package (Coming Late 2024): $4.99 The way im understanding this is that i can just plump for the Cargo version and skip the pax for 69.99 .. The 9.99 is to add the other version if you want to add it later and the failures package (not yet complete) is an additional 4.99. If that's the case ... then meh .. it still needs to be bug free but i can see myself getting this eventually in a few weeks post release as long as there are no showstoppers. Yes, if the reviews show it to surpass the 777 in texturing, systems depth, flight characteristics, failure modeling and performance then I will revisit my decision. But given that this will likely need to wait for the "extended simulation" later this year, I think my reconsideration will not be until after that. MSFS 2024.
