DLSS 3.7.20 released

Featured Replies

Thanks, I'll try it straight away.

 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2  - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

Interested to hear how you go.  I was happy with v3 .5 but all the more recent versions caused issues (I think they were visual rather than performance) so I'm back to 3.5.

Always worth a try as easy enough to revert.

Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)

What driver are you using with 3.5?  Thanks.

I imagine this is also used for NV DLSS FG, for those 40xx cards that support it?  I ask because I see users here are on non 40xx cards.  Despite the 4090 I don't use FG as I can't tolerate the visual artifacts I get with it.

No, there are separate DLLs for DLSS Super Resolution (the AA method) and DLSS Frame Gen. This is an updated to the Super Resolution DLL, frame gen latest is still 3.7.10 released Jun 13th.

I just finished a flight in the PMDG 738 with DLSS Super Resolution version 3.7.20, version 8.0.4 of the Bing Map Enhancement Mod, and the latest Nvidia driver 560.70.  Seemed to be slightly smoother overall, and the terrain looked very nice with the High LOD option enabled in the Bing Map Enhancement Mod.

I’ve not tried DLSS for a long time - are moving digits on the MCP/display units still blurry?

Unfortunately that issue still remains. Asobo has been talking about a mythical fix to this issue by masking off the glass cockpit screens from the DLSS effect for something like 2 years now but it has never appeared in an update for reasons unknown. I've pretty much given up hope they're ever going to do it. In a March dev stream they even said they were surprised the fix was never pushed out and would get on it ASAP and yet here we are.

Yeah, and then in last weeks Dev stream Martial said that there were some unexpected consequences of their fix but he hadn't had a chance to talk to the person responsible as he was on holidays.... Since March?? Thats a very long holiday - I need to get a job at Asobo!

DLSSG seems to be still at 3.7.10.

Has anyone already tried the new Version?

Yes. This afternoon.  Perhaps I created a problem for myself in how I approached it, but my results were a bit of a train wreck. We each have unique systems and our mileage may vary so to speak.  I back tracked and all is good again.  So smooth and rock steady that I will be hard pressed to try any successors.  Bring on MSFS 2024 late this year and I sincerely hope it embodies implementaton of all that has been recently learned and developed. This is the best sim experience have found, and other than my 3080 GPU my system is today exactly a month from 4 years of age and use.
