July 21, 20241 yr hey guys, i really need some help here. ive followed all the videos including twotonemurpheys video on getting rid of stutters. deleted all the cache folders, gone through the Nvidia settings, just updated drivers etc. I CANNOT get rid of this rhythmic micro stutter. I never used to have it, then Sim update 15 was forced on me, now my system runs like an old amd on fsx...its ridiculous! I posted a screenshot (hoping maybe it will help) where at the top, you can see the red lines..thats the micro stutter...its a /...../...../...../...../ and nothing seems to have an affect on it. ANY help would be appreciated!!! BTW, Running windows 10 64, I9 10900K at 4.9Ghz, 16gb DDR4 AND a nVIDIA GeForce RTX3060. I used to get 45fps in seattle with TOD and LOD at 90 and PMDG 737 and smooth as silk. offensive initials not allowed has happened to my system? has anyone else experienced these sim updates causing problems?
July 21, 20241 yr It’s very frustrating. First thing would be: Run your sim in safe mode and see if it still happens.
July 21, 20241 yr I would suggest to delete the rolling cache... There's also a recently released NVIDIA game ready driver. You could try to make a clean install of the driver, preferably using DDU (display driver uninstaller)... You couks try to make a clean install of the driver, preferably using DDU (display driver uninstaller)... I second that motion. Recently I had started having grave performance degradation that lasted almost 72 hours, not so much rhythmic stutters just big drop in native frame rate at times and constant stuttering. I thought I had not done any changes to the system for a while then remembered I had enabled photogrammetry along with the rolling cache about 3 days prior. So I simply turned PG off AND turned off the RC as well as deleted it, and all was back to normal performance-wise. Shortly thereafter I re-enabled both PG and the RC and all has remained well. Can't explain why it failed the first time thru but that's what happened recently here. Perhaps it was I was flying in a totally different region of the world when the RC was created in a different part of the world. July 21, 20241 yr Author OK, So a little bit closer i think....I have narrowed it down to the airport (Drzewiecki Paine Field KPAE)...i started with the PC12 In the middle of Oklahoma and its smooth as silk. I DID delete the rolling cache btw. So what gets me is, with this scenery (my home field) I disabled building interiors etc but if it is a resource hog, id expect a drop in fps but NOT this rythmic stutter word not allowed...any ideas now? I have also reinstalled the scenery (no change) and completely uninstalled (and its smooth as silk). not sure if its ONLY this airport or all my addon airports. ALSO note, im in offline mode right now as my internet is garbage (2-5mbps) Edited July 21, 20241 yr by chevelle505

The powerlines & solar farms have been known to cause this in the past. Try with a completely empty community folder. Probably right on that...no reason slow internet would affect offline mode as far as I know. Check task manager while running the sim as it sounds like something might be running in the background. Look at the processes tab and sort by CPU column and then GPU column and watch for activity spikes for each - also watch CPU, GPU, and Ethernet/network activity on the performance tab. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB
July 22, 20241 yr Rhythmic stutters are usually something like anti virus scans or FSUIPC autosave. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
July 22, 20241 yr Author holy word not allowed, it was FSUIPC!! however, not sure if its an autosave or not, didnt see any option for that to turn off, but when i dont start it, its butter smooth. Do i really need FSUIPC or is it a relec of the P3D/FSX Days? Its FSUIPC 7, and like i said..cant find any settings to turn "off" other than killing the entire thing!
July 22, 20241 yr You don't need FSUIPC. Get yourself satellite internet from Starlink. Reliable and plenty fast enough for gaming.
