Had a bit of a weird takeoff rotation in which the aircraft seem to hit a wall once airborne but I think that had more to do with my low end graphics card trying to keep up with the heavy demands of JFK and NY scenery coupled with a very windy day. Once above like 2,000 feet she climbed up solid and reached 250 knots without issue. One thing I noticed was the substantially higher final approach speed in the 321 compared to the 320. I was coming into Orlando and the final approach speed was 160kts. For those complaining about landings feeling floaty I will say I went for the soft touchdown and was afraid of the tail strike so I did float for what felt like far to long but if you think about it the higher approach speed means there is a lot more airspeed to bleed off and the plane will fly longer. I don’t find the 320 to float at all and in fact think that airplane is perfect but I need more flights with the 321 to get the landing down. Props to the FENIX team for incredible products! I did the same thing. Felt like I was coming in too hot and flared a little too much. The airplane didn't float, I did. Oops! Other than that, everything was great. My old email was my business email which no longer exists after my company was acquired. So I don't have the email that I used to register... can you please advise the next step? You should be able to submit a ticket from any email account regardless of whether a license is tied to it, so just submit it from your new email with the originalorder details attached, or anything to prove it's you/your order. 🙂
August 21, 20241 yr This morning I am flying RNO-MSP in the Delta A319. The A319 definitely handles this somewhat hot and definitely high airport better over the A320. A few months ago I took the A320 out of Reno and it was in the mid 80's and getting it off the runway was not the problem but climbing out certainly was a challenge. You also have some tall terrain not far away in just about every direction so a solid climb out is important. Still get that box below my mouse pointer when adjusting the auto pilot. I think its a message box that is blank is all. Probably an easy fix for the developer. Not sure its there on the A320 and A321 but it probably is.
August 21, 20241 yr Did a flight after my last post in the 319... There was a definite "thud" on that landing. I wish it would have floated a little to help me out. Other than that, it was a perfect flight. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
August 21, 20241 yr I’ve noticed that GSX puts stairs to door 2L on the A321 if there’s no jetway. Is this usual? I can’t recall being on an A321 where we boarded via stairs but I’m fairly sure that stairs would only come to the front and rear most doors on an A321.

Since door 2L has been defined in the airplane profile supplied by Fenix as a door that exists, GSX is acting as it should, and places stairs on all doors that are defined to exist in the airplane profile, if the plane is parked on a spot where there's no jetway. If you don't think having a stair on 2L is correct, you just edit the airplane profile in GSX, and configure 2L as "No Door on this position". Seems that Fenix believe it is… It isn't - but as good practise we define doors as doors in the profile as opposed to anything else, but Umberto#s tip helps and I personally do that too. Thanks for the response Aamir. Your professionalism even in the small things such as circulating a build for Umberto to configure to work out of the box is commendable. You and your team are the gold standard now,
